I think the writers try to stay away from controversial subjects, but this week's episode came close. I didn't totally agree with the way they handled the premarital sex question between Joan & Adam.

Friday: season finale. The previews look good!

well, it was inevitable that they'd bring it up... i personally thought it was too soon. They could have saved that issue for next season, when they've been together longer. but it's a valid topic..

I love Joan of Arcadia.. Sometimes it makes me emotional.. It is a good tv show!

I was disappointed by the season finale. I know that desert periods in a person's faith happen. But...I just didn't like how they left it. I didn't see the point. Did anyone? Because if you have a take on it that I missed...I would really appreciate your sharing it with me. Thanks.

I hope the show has been renewed for next season. I would hate to see a show I look so forward to watching with my family on Friday nights, cancelled.

i liked the ending. i guess they were just showing us that god wasn't going to desert joan forever (the dude coming in and touching her on the forehead).

I missed the finale.
I was looking forward to it and was working in the yard.( got lost in the weeds and didn't get out until 9pm.)
Actually was mowing and lost track of time.(personally--I HATE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!!!!!)
Oh well that what reruns are for.

The first few times I watched it, I didn't really get what the big deal was... must have been bad episodes because I HAVE to watch it every Friday night when it is on now!

I missed the finale too, I was away for the weekend. And the weekend before that, I had a friend over who would NOT watch it.

i thought blaming it on Lime Disease was kind of lame, actually. But I do appreciate the losing faith theme.

it will be interesting to see whether God still talks to her or not... what do you think?

That goes for me too... I really do like it, although some of the stuff isn't all that great, but it's cool!

It's not a bad show. It never mentions Jesus though. None of these type of shows do, if they did, the world would reject it.

My fav show was the one where Joan has to date the school bully. The point "god" was trying to make to Joan was meaningfull.

I've just started watching it, Its a good series, Mind, I'm having problems seperating Joe's character from Fat Tony.
