I like the show and think that it is very well done. However, I think it borders on being disrespectful, the way Joan talks to God sometimes. In last night's episode she told him "You suck". I think a lot of good things can come out of this show. I doubt that we will ever see the plan of salvation talked about, but with God, all things are possible.

well, actually i like the way she talks to God. she's honest. I find it refreshing that she gets mad at him. who hasn't at times felt that way? I mean, lets face it, it's not always easy to understand Him or His motives, and I can relate to her frustration.

i think we've all been in her shoes. sometimes i do get frustrated at God. maybe it's "disrespectful", but I think it's a realistic for that kind of reaction. sometimes it does suck when things He asks you to do things you don't want to do.

just my 2c though.

yeah...that honesty is good. i mean, i do that sometimes. and i'm sure a lot of people do that (even if they don't speak it, their heart says it). i think it's more disrespectful when we're in denial. when we think, "no...i'm okay."

How many times do I through a temper tantrum at God. But much like Joan I know He has my best interest at heart and I follow Him. He is my all in all. My begining and ending.

Why did you mention what she said to God, and leave out the best part? The electricity went out instantly afterwards. Now that was funny. Didn't you see the irony? It was so old school....gotta love it. Yes, it was disrespectful. But in today's society, people need to be able to know they can talk to God however they need to. Besides, what she said was how a person of that age would say it. Ever notice how God smirks at her when she does this? I really don't believe that God is hung up on the pettiness of our human understanding, or teenager angst. God's just bigger than that.

I absolutely love that God took the form of a High School Goth to talk to Joan this last episode. It goes to show that God not only has a sense of irony and humor, but that God is every human being's God. I know that someone is going to be really offended by it. But I loved the message it sent! God transcends human limitations and prejudices. How cool is that?

I think God would like Joan of Arcadia if He watched it. I think God has a sense of humor and I think He will find the show great.

I really like that Joan sometimes gets irritated at God's suggestions because she doesnt understand most of them. It just makes the show more real. I know some of us are sometimes like that even if we just think it and not say it. I know that sometimes I am confused and irritated at some of God's suggestions for me also. I know that I dont understand the reasons why sometimes, but I know it always ends up for the better.

I read an interview with Amber in TV Guide not too long ago...she says she doesn't belong to any organized religion...and lives with her boyfriend, for what it's worth.

I have seen a lot of them, but not all.

My favorite seen was the recent one. I rolled when she jerked the walker away from god and all the people were staring at her.

It does show that god is more personable, Like god is one of us. Not above us and impersonal. That is what the religious people missed in the song. It's not belittling god,
but showing that he knows how we suffer. And that god could be the person you pass on the street, as a ministry for you to serve. Something to show how Christian you are.

I loved touched by an angel, but god was not in direct connection with the people he helped. God was never seen, never interceded directly with the miracles.

I hope they stay away from political questions unless they can actually look at the situation from gods perspective.
