Glad it's Friday, and hope everyone had a decent enough week. Could use your prayers for some job issues I'm having, I asked God if I should remain or go. Is it wrong to ask God for what seems to be trivial matters, when there is so much suffering elsewhere in the world?

Personally I don't see it wrong to ask God for what may seem trivial...We're to go with anything on our hearts and minds...
I've even been in the vehicle and will say "Please God, let it start"

People keep saying stress is what caused my shingles. I asked what I was stressed about, but that's a dumb question. I'm stressed about the following:
1. Looking for a church and feeling hurt and abandoned by my previous church.
2. My bf being unemployed. If he doesn't get a job in the next month or so, he'll have to move back in with his parents 8 hours away.
3. An old friend suddenly re-entering the picture. He gave no apology for cutting ties, no explanation for cutting ties (although he tried to use something that happened a year after he left), and expects to be able to pick up where we left off.
4. General work stress, with another heartbreaking situation this week.
Ok... makes sense now... dumb shingles.

Day 3 of defrosting our freezer is pulling to a close with much improvement.
Freezer compartment is still full of ice but the wall of ice underneath in the fridge compartment seems to be melting more rapidly. I'm guessing it will take a whole week to thaw.
I think I might be developing an obsession with getting this thing thawed out.
