I am, Rebecca. He was self-taught too. He learned to play on a ruler first, the fingering, etc, then, he saved up money and bought a "Selmar" I think that is the name, and started by playing in small, high school groups, then, when he got older, he played in local bands, then with radio stations, they with the Clyde McCoy band. LOL, I can hardly play the stereo even. HeHe

No I don't...I just know it was a march of some sort...I can remember a very small portion of it...maybe...but it was a march that was almost more like rag time, so I might be confusing my memories with the rag time. I have a TON of old music somewhere in some storage bins upstairs. I should go through it again. I have some that's from the early 1900s!

No I don't...I just know it was a march of some sort...I can remember a very small portion of it...maybe...but it was a march that was almost more like rag time, so I might be confusing my memories with the rag time. I have a TON of old music somewhere in some storage bins upstairs. I should go through it again. I have some that's from the early 1900s!

Wow, that is awesome. It is so interesting to hear some of them, I think they still sound good today,.

Susie, I have a couple of smooth jazz books around here, I imagine I could pull one out and play a couple of the pieces and upload them for you

I don't like jazz with singing normally, but I like to sing jazz sometimes...weird...like Fly Me To the Moon...don't necessarily love Frank Sinatra's version of it but my voice does that song so perfectly Funny because I think most people don't know I can sing that kind of genre.
