Another Christian band I really enjoy is Sinbreed here is a link to one of their songs:

Sinbreed - "Dust to Dust" Ulterium Records - YouTube
First I have heard them, not bad, not bad at all.

Below the surface of man vicious thoughts are rising within*
No matter who or what will involve you, at the end your recall's in vain.
You feel the scruples rising, dark shapes moving your feet.
A child alone, eyes deep like an ocean.
Your memories fading, frozen in time.

You're standing on a crossway, wondering where shall we go (...shall we go).
You're searching for the traces, guiding you on your way.

[Chorus:]
Dust to dust - it's the fate upon us all.
The life you have chosen, decide where to go.
Dust to dust - see the writing on the wall.
Behold, it's worth fighting, don't loose your belief.
Dust to dust - it's the fate upon us all.
It's your life, you better think twice.
Dust to dust...

You're scared of what will follow - burn in hell or the kingdom of light.
A secret world beyond all illusions.
You've build your own cage inside your soul.
You'll hide below the surface.
All of mankind's seed has been sown.
Harvest's kindness lies in your own hands.
Two empty streets, where will you go?

You are standing on a crossway, wondering where shall we go (...shall we go).
You are searching for the traces, guiding you on your way.

This is the final call - a guidance's been unfold.
This is the final call - believe in what's been told.

Hi Susie, how are you? Interesting you like metal music.
Hi Rebecca, I am OK, just sitting here trying to distract myself, my icky skipped heart beats are sort of acting up, they scare me.

LOL, well, not a total metal fan, just some Christian. My most favorite is "Smooth Jazz"

I like symphonic metal...something about the heavy feeling of the music really resonates with the depths of my soul...but I like almost ALL music and I have an appreciation for all types even if they're not my favorite. This is because it is an expression of their heart and soul no matter what kind of music it is. I don't like music with screaming...it makes me feel angry. The rest, I'm ok with.

Hey, what did one earthquake say to the other earthquake?

I also like how they ditched the over the top bee looking outfits. Really nothing wrong with it but I thought it was way over the top but I also like how they didn't fully sacrifice the yellow and black colors.

^_^ Bee looking outfits...that reminds me, my husband had two shirts once, they were bright yellow and had black side panels...he looked like a Bumble bee and it was a horrid color on him. Eventually I made them go away ^_^

I am more of the Skillet/Fireflight kind of girl when it comes to the heavier music.

I like smooth jazz pretty well...I'd like to learn how to play some. It can be really soothing. Sometimes I can just trip my fingers around the keys and it'll do the same thing ^_^ But what I'd really like to learn is how to do old time Boogie Woogie and more ragtime...I know some rag time...but I'd love to be able to get a room hoppin' with some of that old timey stuff ^_^

Well, I guess a lot of earthquakes are saying that in New Zealand, we have them almost daily, we just do not feel them, at least here, I am glad, they scare me.

I bet you would be great at smooth jazz.

My dear daddy was a big band musician, he played lead alto, he said there was nothing more fun than playing in a ballroom full of folks dancing and enjoying the music. Ahhhh, I love good music like that. Here's to you my dear daddy.

Awww hugs to you Susie

One of my great-great uncles was a composer of music in the US Army...I had one of his big band pieces that he'd put into piano music once...I don't know where it went, I'm sure I have it somewhere, but it was a great piece!

That would be neat if you could find it, would love to hear it. Do you remember the name of it by any chance?
