Do you like storms? I don't mind them...just not alot of lightning...

Doin' well...feels comfortable...about ready to eat everything in the fridge...hard to wait for food to get done lol...havin' a red gravy meal today, with Perchadeal (I know I spelled it wrong, that's how it sounds), it's like hollow spaghetti...
Dawny puts pepperoni chunks, italian sausage, meatballs and roasted garlic cloves in her red gravy...then put it on the pasta, and top with Pecorino Romano cheese...oh good grief...doubly hungry now...Mmmmm

I do like storms...they're so powerful! Last summer our house got bit by lightening and fried a few things so I'm a bit nervous when there's a lot of lightening.

Man, you're makin' me hungry for good food! Off to eat my boring old salad.

I lovvvvveeeeee storms, am afraid of the striking lightning but we mostly get heat lightning here. When I was a kid, we lived in a one story ranch house with no basement, and it was very small (especially for 9 people living in it) and I remember one summer, we were doing our school work and all of the sudden, the storm got REALLY loud and there was tons of striking lightning. As we had a picture window in the front of the living room, mom was concerned about us being in there to do school work. I didn't heed what she said and i stayed by the window and watched in awe until she dragged my sorry little butt into the hallway with the rest of the kids. About 2 seconds after we got into the hallway, a massive strike of lightning came into our house and struck through the living room all the way over to the kitchen (it was open concept into the kitchen) and fried all the pans in the kitchen cupboards I thought it was the coolest thing ever It was scary...our pans were still smoking when the storm was over

This was my breakfast. My mom made it. It's blueberry coffee cake.

She is a great mom. She didn't make it for me, but made it for my sisters, and of course anyone who wants to show up at her house is welcome So I drove over there after my brother posted that pic of it. I LOVE blueberry stuff.

She's opening her own cafe soon and is experimenting with goodies to make. She is an EXCELLENT cook and baker...used to have her own home bakery 19 years ago and people STILL remember her so this is just a fulfillment of something that started years ago.

Hi everybuddy!! Have a great Memorial Day weekend. I am going to a couple of cook outs. It should be fun. My dog Suzy is going with me as she always does. She is my emotional support dog. I take her in stores. I have her registered as a service dog so everyone allows her to come in. It's great to take my baby with me every where.

I'm ok, the pain is a teeny tiny bit less, which is cool. I just got back from seeing one of my doctors. He helps me manage the pain and he has told me that I will need to keep taking the morphine for a while, especially when I start seeing my physical therapist on Thursday. It's gonna hurt big time but I need to do it.
