CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I most probably would not be sitting, but be either at , or clinging to His feet, crying, "Lord have mercy on me a sinner." And if not that, I'd shut up, and simply ask Him to hold me!

One time not too long ago, in Spirit, Jesus "showed up" in my room. Took me completely by surprise. I could not see Him with my eyes, but I Knew He was standing right there. And my reaction surprised me...all I could do was kind of giggle, and tell Him I love Him and that I was so glad He was here! And I told Him how silly I felt, that all I could do was giggle like a school girl. The only impression I got was that He was standing there smiling at me.

I'm trying to imagine what would be going through my mind as I see Him walking towards the bench....I'd probably start crying (as I've been doing this alot lately), I would want to give him a huge hug and tell him thank you for everything and apologize for all the times I've hurt his feelings.

Right about now, I guess I'd be talking about how I think He is leading me at this time. I'd be thanking Him for the opportunities and love He so freely gives me ... as I selfishly ask for more grace, more clarity, more strength, and an even deeper desire to follow Him.
