If I offer you unconditional love and you reject it whose fault would that be? And does that mean that the unconditional love was never there?

if you being just

why would you offer me the same love that you would offer the person who continue to sin and disobey everything you stand for?

unless you are not just.

uncondtional love cannot be there because of sin.

here is a question for you straight from the bible

can God and satan sit at your table?

please answer with reason?

1 Corinthians 10:20-22

20But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

21Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.
22Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

and if we die in our sins, unrepentant, unforgiving, , not believing, then what?

where is the unconditional love for those who meet this criteria?

Exodus 32:32-34

32Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.

33And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
34Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.
Ozell, your confusing love with judgment....they aren't the same....you seem to confuse things alot.

so the people cast themselves into the lake of fire?

Revelation 20:14-15
14
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire

your GOD LOVES EVERYBODY AND EVERYTHING!

whether God or the people put themselves in the lake of fire, Your God will not let this happen because he loves everyone and everything, his love is suppose to be unconditional!!
Oh, Ozell, how long will you hear but not understand?! You are like the bible speaks of, with ears but without hearing. May God grant you hearing before it is too late.

Yes we sentence ourselves to hell if we do not repent. Just like if we murder someone, we sentence ourselves to jail. It's our choice. Someone else gets to say, yep, your guilty, but the guilt is all ours. You are trying to place the guilt of our sin on God. Jesus already did that number, all we have to do is say, okay, I'll stay out of jail and try to obey the law. If we don't accept that, we are sentenced to hell (jail).

As to the unconditional love part. Let's say that you get angry at someone, in your anger you murder their spouse and children. After the event, you come to your senses and realize what you did. You go to the family member that is still alive and say, "I'm sorry, I was out of my head and didn't realize what I was doing". The family member, sighs deeply and swallows hard, you took his entire family from him...and then he looks you in the eye and says, "I forgive you and I will convince them to drop the charges if you go to anger management classes." You say, "sorry, that is too much to ask, I'd rather go to jail than to take anger management classes" . Where was the condition of love, of forgiveness. Where was the condition in which forgiveness was taken off the table? You were still forgiven, you just had to pay for your crime because of your pride.

This is similar to God's love. We crucified the Son, we killed God's baby boy and ourselves with Him, through our sin. God comes along and say, "I forgive you, but you must stop killing Jesus and yourselves. If you turn away from your sins, (your murderous ways) you can be my son, but if you continue to do these things, I can't help you, the law is absolute on this issue. You now have a choice...you say no thanks I deserve to die....when has love stopped?....God says, if you ever change your mind, I'm here....where is the end of love, the condition of love...even when you reject it's full impact, you are still offered that love, love has not ceased, your pride has sentenced you to pay for your crimes. Love, Ozell, is unconditional, when you start putting conditions on it, it stops being love. Judgment on the other hand is completely different. Just like in the case of the above analogy, forgiveness (love) was offered no matter the situation. It didn't disappear, it didn't vanish, forgiveness was never even once taken off the table. The only thing that was negotiated was the price you paid for your sin. A price that has to be paid by the law. You get to decide how it is paid. Thus some people choose to got to hell while others choose paradise with God. But love remains constrant, love remains unchanging, love remains unconditional, it is our penalty for sin that can change, that has conditions, two totally different things.

if you being just

why would you offer me the same love that you would offer the person who continue to sin and disobey everything you stand for?
Because love does not see our sin, it sees who we are and who we are intended to be. Judgment shows how far we need to go to be that person, judgment shows us why our sins are so damaging.
can God and satan sit at your table?

please answer with reason?

1 Corinthians 10:20-22
20 No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons. 22 Are we trying to arouse the Lord’s jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

But this is not what we are talking about...we are talking about Love, not trying to ride the fence. In fact, God tells fence riders He will spew you out of His mouth...but again, that is a different discussion.

22Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
again, wonderful passages but way off topic...let's try to deal with only one truth at a time...God's love is unconditional

Not so much because of this thread, but because of the wonderful unconditional love of God, we are learning to humble ourselves even more, especially through the death of our son, which may sound crazy, but that loss taught us to be more humble, thus learning more to love and be loved.

So with my experience, so not crazy at all. In fact, my dead sons have the satisfaction of knowing that their "untimely" death precipitated their father's salvation, and energized a lot of abundant sowing by him.

I'm sorry for your loss and glad to hear the fruit of God's love even in this sorrow and pain...His love is eternal and without end, even when we feel there is nothing left.

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

Right, absolutly correct Ozell. As you and I have both written in this thread.....We still sin.

Sinners, admitted sinners, shoooey, lets just get it off our chests and admit it.

What, sin, a trespass against God, in my recolection your theory is that God hates us now.

Now you post a verse that proves your theory wrong, keep on posting, perhaps you'll read your own posts and convince yourself that God loves all. It's mankind that rejects a love that is continually offered.
