Total mind freak man there was there man like no other there man. Yeah.

The Jesus Freaks were all about Jesus and God. It would be Power to Jesus and People for Jesus cos Jesus is is for the people man. And Jesus is the power for people. Jesus is like a big power plant man. He's like all buzzing with power and gives it to you because Jesus is love man. Pure love like water flowing and wind blowing and its like a nuclear bomb of love man and power going off in your soul and heart man. Not like the world bombs that just kill and destroy, but but like love and holy spirit power man. Without Jesus there is no love man. That's why Nixon isn't for love man. Or else he would bring everyone home to make the White House a commune man and let his hair grow like Jesus did man. Nixon could be like Jesus man. White Commune Nixon Jesus man. That would be groovy to be with Nixon in the White Commune raising sheep like on the lawn and milking goats and talking about Jesus and his holy power and love man. Goin natural like God wanted and no more war and just being cool man.

Sometimes Jesus Freak can mean someone who shouts about Jesus but is poorly trained and preaches many heresies but in the past decade or so I think it's started to mean someone that is passionate for Christ and is unapologetic for it.

I believe the title came out of the late sixties man and was supposed to be an insult, just like the name "Christian" was supposed to be! Society called the faithful "Freaks" because they would not compromise their faith for any earthly reward or punishment.
Don't you wish there were more freaks?
Try asking this in your church, "Hey, do you want to be a freak?"

1. Christian book store "Jesus Freak" is a book about Christian Martyrs...day one till today

2. I would be more concerned about wicca, than i would be about a Jesus Freak patch, a "white witch / witchcraft"

3. Jesus freaks were radically saved young people, who went after Jesus hook , line, and sinker... a good thing

The only people you will attract wearing that patch is other Jesus Freaks like youself.

It's not about what you wear on your sleeve. It's about people seeing the good in you and then seeing the good in Jesus. That's what is ment by live by example.

Why would a non-christian want to get to know you if the first thing they realize is a difference in beliefs?

Well, since so many of us are now showing our 60's attitude, here's my advice, man. I'd ask the Wiccan, "Like man, you got any idea what it means to be a Jesus freak? I mean, man, he was a way good dude that died for your sin, man. Here's what John wrote about him, man: (opening the Scriptures to 1 John 2:2) He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. I mean, wow man, if you could just come to grips with what that means for you, you'd want to be a Jesus freak, too! Can I share with you what he's done in my life, man?"

For the other friend that's a member of your group you could always tell her that you're all about getting people to ask you about Jesus and, as is evidenced by both of these people, the patch seems to provide a catalyst to that end. BTW has she ever heard the song? What will people do when they find that I'm a Jesus freak? Seems like you're finding out.
