you totally miss the teaching of scripture and replace it with your stories,
I just gave you scriptures after scriptures and can give you lots more -- My friend - you need to seek the Lord Jesus Christ and listen to Him just like the Scriptures explain. The Word is near you! You find it in your heart and on your lips if you start seeking Him. But if you deny Him and you don't get to know Him as your Lord so that you listen to and get your instructions from Him, then you are not being taught by Him and it is written that they will all be taught of God!!
So the Scriptures don't teach you He does!! The Scriptures are the textbook not the Teacher!! Read what you wrote and you can indeed see the problem you have.
And as for my stories, they are the testimonies which you will find with all those that know the Lord Jesus Christ. They testify that the Lord Jesus Christ is indeed working with us, like the Scriptures say He does, but you reject our testimonies just like the Scripture I already gave you and you reject. I'll give you a few more Scriptures and another testimony so you again can reject the Lord's sayings and work or change your mind and start seeking Him? The choice will always be yours until a day of judgement comes upon you.
Is 30:9 For this is a rebellious people, false sons. Sons who refuse to listen to the instruction of the Lord.
Is 30:20,21 … He your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher. Your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left.
So when people refuse to listen to the Lord it is because they are rebellious and indeed are false sons
When people turn to Him they find that He is the Teacher - the Scriptures are not the Teacher, the Lord is!!
Ezek 3:6,7 … But I have sent you to them who should listen to you; yet the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, since they are not willing to listen to Me.
So for a testimony. A while back the Lord asked me to turn to Ezekiel 3 and read there. I usually spend some time in the morning with Him and my Bible. He is not the Bible, but the Teacher. So I read as instructed and then while I was reading the Lord started talking to me as I read. He was telling me that He was sending me to a people who would not listen to me because they were unwilling to listen to Him. So He still does the same type of thing, and unfortunately people tend to do the same type of thing.
The reason the people then did not listen to Ezekiel is because the main point of Ezekiel's message was that the people should listen to the Lord. So, if they had been willing to listen to the Lord they would have been willing to listen to Ezekiel. Just like now. But if a person is not willing to listen to our Lord Jesus Christ they are certainly not going to be willing to listen to someone telling them to listen to the Lord, just like now.
Mark 12:28,29 … "What commandment is the foremost of all?" Jesus answered, "The foremost is, Hear, O Isreal!...
Is 1:2 Listen, O heavens, and hear O earth; For the Lord speaks
Deut 13:4 You shall follow the Lord your god and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.
Deut 6:4 "Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our god, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your might, These words, which I am commanding you today shall be on your heart.
With all that in the Scriptures and soo much more about us hearing from Him, who do we miss the fact that we are suppose to hear from the Lord? Maybe it is that snake in the garden whose words were "Did God really say?"
God really does say, and He speaks "Today". It is the snake who goes about cause us to doubt that!
