  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I missed lasts weeks show but, I intend not to missed next weeks . It is getting exciting and it the first network show I have seen for a long time. I ditched network TV for satellite programing since a lot of the programs was getting sexually expeclit and going twoards a pro homsexual lifestyle . I have other choices to choose from.

This show is getting better and more interesting. I'm glad CBS picked it up for the rest of the season, makes a nice warmup for 'Lost'!

I'm still watching too, the last couple of episodes were a lot better. Jericho and Lost seem to be my Wednesday nights too :)

Getting better and better every week! Eric is such a bonehead. Last nights episode frustrated me. It's just like a soap opera. They get you to a good part then make you wait a week. I guess that's the point though.:) Also, has anyone else noticed that with all that is going on in Jericho, nobody has mentioned God? I know if I was in their situation I would be on my knees praying. Yet nobody has said anything about God.

They drop them food, medicine, even generators. Would a working radio or two have been too much to ask?

I seen the previews to that episode and then taped it while doing someting else. went to play it tonight and my blankety blank vcr decided tonight was the night to go out and ate the tape while it was at it.

so..... why was the Chinese dropping supplies??? we lose a war to them?

Unless their are already showing re-runs, that episode is gone as far as I know. I dont have satelite - only basic cable.

I'm not sure if you understood. On CBS.com, the website (and nothing to do with your television) they stream the most current episode of Jericho (and a few other shows), though I will admit that it helps to have a moderate to fast Internet connection. I just checked and it is the most recent episode, you can find it by going to the Jericho website and selecting "Play Now" under Watch Full Episodes. I hope this helps.

Apparently it was some sort of international relief effort, Russian jets escorting US cargo planes dropping Chinese supplies. Much was made about whether the food was safe to eat, but the wanna-be mayor ate some of it and didn't get sick. In this episode it was Thanksgiving so its been about two months since the attacks and they still don't have much of an idea of whats going on. That seems odd to me, as reestablishing communications would seemingly be a priority of any relief effort.

The escalating violence annoys me a little. I suppose the writers see it as an inevitable result of social breakdown, but I'm not so sure. I'd be more interested if the characters were making more of an effort to ensure their own future and try to find out about missing family and friends. They do now and then, but as an afterthought... oh yeah, we're gonna need all this corn... and what have they been doing about making sure their water is safe? Just depending on bottled water from the skies? Okay, I'm nitpicking, but the show is starting to bore me a little.
