These next 2 months are the last major days I have till my year comes up. I am not looking forward because alot comes up, ie my son's 1st Birthday and my birthday in January, then my anniveasary and valintines day in Febuary. These 4 will be about the hardest but will also be the last too. I am glad I made it through the major hoildays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years) so I know I will make it. Just not liking it!

Well, seems like Valentines day was big for her, not me. I got her stuff, I seldom got much. However, I understand the birthdays, anniversaries and such. I celebrated our anniversary with my kids...I had them. Their birthdays are tough, I typically haven't had them on their birthdays. My oldest childs is next month...actually looking towards it with some happiness. I did celebrate my own birthday last year by myself, and it was hard. Keep praying for comfort and strength...talk to God, and seek His peace. Only He can help us through all the stuff we feel. He is always faithful and true to those who love Him and seek His help. BTW, I know how you feel, I am thrilled that the major holidays are over, Christmas was tough this year...

It almost feels like it never ends, it always seems like there is holidays, birthdays, remodeling, major car repairs, etc that pile on top of the day to day things that have to get done and most of these things cost money so you can never save for what you really want. Its almost as if the system is designed to consume all of your time and money.

Mine aren't about my ex-h anymore, but some are still bad. Two Easters ago was really hard after a long term relationship ended. I didn't want to be home so I agreed to go to the mountains which surprised my mom because I hate to be up there for holidays. I just didn't want it to resemble the previous Easter.

Now here comes Valentines again. It can't be as bad as last year though. I kind of had a bf, didn't know where I stood after a disagreement and his sudden change to full time dad. He didn't call that day and the previous week we had been smooching on his couch. He blamed it on his boss who he said told him it wouldn't be right to call me and give me false hopes since he didn't know where we were going. I wasted more than 3 more months on that one, even went so far as introducing the kids and had a family dinner. Maybe not a waste. I got to know it was really over instead of maybe wondering if I called it quits too soon.

Eh, I've joined an awesome new church, I've gone to one planning meeting for a new single's program starting up, I'm checking out mini-churches to join and belong to another small group. It helps.
