It is not reasonable to expect university administration to handle matters like this. This is an issue for police and courts. Period.

And yet, LU actively discouraged people from reporting assaults to the town police preferring to keep it to the campus police and the school's own handling of them.

And at the least, it gives some people online the opportunity to scorn those awful Christians, doesn't it?

The fact that the same thing and worse takes place at a hundred other but not church-affiliated colleges is not worth creating a new thread, that's for sure.

I thought Christians would expect their institutions hold to a higher standard. I must have been mistaken.
