Does one Orthodox priest represent your church? If so, I would love to have a link to him from you....
MinorClergy said:I don't mean any disrespect. He seems to hold himself out as mainstream, but I have trouble believing that he is.

awesumtenor said:No, he does not. He is not an Adventist pastor in the employ of any conference within the Adventist church and has not been for decades, since the early 1980s.
It is believed the last Adventist church he held membership in was the 3ABN church, from which he was removed from fellowship in 1999 or 2000.
While you will find Adventists that agree with his particular brand of extremism, he is not representative of the positions put forth by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
In His service,
Mr. J

There are thousands that became SDAs after reading the National Sunday Law. And I am one of them.
The problem is that people don't want to hear the truth. It divides them so they have to be either cold or hot.
"Great Controversy" has been main stream Adventism for well over 100 years and I hope it continues to be.
I once had a dear old brother who purchased a few cases of the Sunday Law book and then asked me to help pass them out to people on the street. I asked him, how would that help those who never heard the gospel.

The National Sunday Law does convince some people. However, I think it turns off way more people than it helps and makes them think that we belong to a cult or something.
