James White

Is anyone else familiar with James White (the Dividing Line)? God really made him instrumental in introducing me to Reformed Theology, but nobody else in my church has ever heard of him! His debate are really informative and helpful.

Not to say that any of it was false either, I did howeve in the past get a James R White Book for my Catholic friend to read...

I love James White. Have you been to his chat channel. You will see me, bulldog, and bbas in there on occasion. I really enjoy his books (I have 5 sitting in front of me), his blog, and his debates. I also enjoy listening to the DL when I get the chance.

I am familiar with James White, he was very help ful in my understanding of the doctrines of Grace. When I first heard him on the "bam" I was very angry with him, but between James and RC I was forced to deal with that anger.

Hi Erin,

James White has some great arguments that refutes a lot of what Roman Catholic apologists (like Scott Hahn, Karl Keating, Patrick Madrid, etc.) claim and argue. I really enjoy his work on Roman Catholicism.

Yes. His stuff is very informative and enjoyable. One of my favorite Protestant apologists.

Well, Id say that whoever had to say that must be very sheltered. The entire population of the planet right now for the most part is cynical, due to the horrors we must endure on tv and radio daily. He is a great guy, and even has some patience for n00b idiots like me

I've looked at his "Debating Calvinism: Five Points, Two Views" a couple of times. Haven't read it yet and to be honest am not familiar with him - other than thinking the book looked interesting. So, since he's getting many recommendations - guess I'm going to have to add another book to my "to buy and read" list.

He's going to be doing a cruise next November. My grandmother wants to take our us and our unconverted family members on a "Christian" cruise. But, she wants us to plan it. Haha! Aren't they in for something! Since we get to pick which cruise and work out the details, I'll say James White all the way! What a week my unconverted family members will have! They'll probably hate us even more. . .but what's that to having them listening to James White for a week?!? I feel so devious!
