  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I played a short demo at Game Stop, though I couldn't really appreciate it cause the rubber of the left thumbstick was removed and the stick itself was off its axis so it was hard to move.

Many say if you liked KOTOR, you'll like Jade Empire, and I loved KOTOR. Really the only game I've every played over and over again. :D

I have the game on my renting list at Gamefly. If it doesn't come in, I'll get Lego Star Wars.

this game is very smooth in telling its story. the action is really fun and the soundtracks are masterfully mixed to fit the different occurences or moods of the game. the controls seem a little awkward when you are fighting at first, but once you get the hang of it the brilliance of the games scenery, music, story plots, AI interaction and the like swallows you and makes you feel that you are in that world.

one thing that i noticed in games past and in Jade Empire is BioWare is really able to tell their stories well.

one of the nice little things i noticed was when you answered someone with a statement your characters face would express what type of answer it was. for example, if you replied with anger your character would scowl and grit their teeth, if it was a pleasent reaction of compliment your character would have a smile on his/her face. Not to mention that at times the followers in your group would initiate conversations with you instead of you having to do it all the time.

this game is like KotOR in how you advance and upgrade your character's skill, whether it be in martial might, magical power, charm, intuition, or intimidation.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game of a mythological China and martial arts.
It left me wanting a little more adventure and lucky for me i have the Limited Edition version and was able to get an extra character from it.

I do recommend this game as im sure it will leave most people satisfied as i was.
