  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

All information derived from articles here The Origins of Babylon

The Bible is the story of a man. That man is Adam, and his sin, after eve slept with satan and bore cain (seed of the wicked one) was to harken onto the voice of his adulterous wife instead of God.

After that, various groups of angels fell and corrupted more of the original human DNA. The watchers, the serpents, the nephilim, and the anakim. These taught all sorts of sciences and occultism to the pre-flood civilization which united in rebellion against the Lord.

The old testament was mainly concerned with protecting the lineage of the original human seed. The other races were recorded as Beasts, Cattle, Foul of the air, and the Creeping Thing.

After the flood, the clothes which God made for Adam were passed down and eventually fell into the hands of Nimrod, who established himself as a god and brought the ancient world into unified rebellion against God by constructing the tower of Babel and the city Babylon.

Shem slew Nimrod, cut him up into pieces, and distributed them to various nations as proof that Nimrod was no god. After that Samiramis attempted to steal the prophecy of Christ by passing herself off as a virgin and claiming that Nimrod was thus reborn.

This new Nimrod, was slew by Esau, and he took the clothes God had made for Adam. After trading his birthright to Jacob, who was renamed Israel, for a lousy can of beans he went on to establish the Edomites, which later became Rome.

Meanwhile, the uncorrupted seed of Adam brought forth Jesus, who fulfilled the prophecy of "The seed of the woman shall destroy the seed of the serpent. It shall bruise thy heel and thou shalt crush it's head." Jesus paid the ultimate price, here on God's footstool, and through his sacrifice established the means by which death could be beaten, satans demons cast out, and the means to getting us out of this mess. For one man brought death and sin into the world, and through one man they are extinguished.

The edomites later became Rome, which took on the religion established by Nimrod and continued to persecute Israel. Rome is also the sixth head of the beast in Revelation, which was wounded, and is coming back to life as the new European Union or Roman Empire, which a group of kingdoms and area that very much resembles original Rome. Rome is also the great city built upon seven hills or seven mountains.

Of course Rome renamed all of it's pagan holidays and pagan traditions with a seemingly christian flavor, but the true power was in their baptism of infants and children. Children do not have sins to confess, they are not humble, they do not profess a deep commitment to Christ, they do not what it means to live, let alone be born again.

False Teaching - Baptismal Regeneration Chapter 4-False Teaching - Pagan Babylon and Not the Bible Is the True Source of Baptismal Regeneration

It really changes a man on the inside. They get eyes that see not and cars that hear not. They enter a state of spiritual coma-their true spiritual faculties for discerning real truth become paralyzed. This accounts for the fact that otherwise honest and intelligent men will tolerate such spiritual deceit being perpetrated upon themselves and their families. Without this spiritually paralyzed membership, Rome could never exist, for as soon as a man is born from above, he wakes up to see all this mockery and takes his leave.

Nothing is so detrimental to a Christian as this wasted baptismal regeneration with it's pagan babylonian origins. Should they fall away and have an actual "born again" experience then they are worried about having fallen away. Even more dangerous is the lukewarm attitude many establish as they grow up. Christianity isn't a birthright, it's better for the sinner to know that he is a sinner and be denied the Christian experience until he is ready to be born again for real.

The eternal rivalry continues into the revelation with the execution of Christians, which is likely to get a whole lot worse in the coming years, once the empire fully revives.

Firstly- When someone publishes an entire book online on their own website be wary and wise.

It means no Christian publishing house would touch it with a barge pole for a VERY good reason.

Secondly when that author claims to:

"The author actively seeks a publisher. This would ultimately allow this obscure information to have their proper place among the rest of the written works available to the seeker."

Then they have crossed in to the genre of the occult.

Thirdly there are so many theological and plain research lacking gaffs from a quick scan read in the other articles on that website it would take weeks to proof them.

This is not a helpful article for it leads people astray form God.

I agree totally. I looked at the website and read enough of it to be ably to tell that the author doesn't understand Biblical teachings and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Blessings,

It appears the author's beef is with people who think their infant gained salvation through infant baptism. The book is not against baptism itself, but against people assuming salvation comes without a conscious decision and repentance.

Most people here on CF would agree with that stance. The additional arguments were a little weird, though.

Books are people's thoughts and research put on paper. Being printed does not make them right, and being approved by a publisher does not make them truth. A publisher makes money from what they know will sell.

Many renowned authors were rejected by multiple publishers, and many great scholars did not have their works approved for mass production. At the same time, Greek myths were reprinted over centuries, scientific theories that were later proven wrong... many bad things get into print.

It is each person's responsibility to sift through information and find as much truth as possible, so we can make more informed decisions.

When wondering about Christian baptism, see how it is presented in the Bible. Jesus was baptised. Jesus spoke on baptism. Whether it had been an earlier cultural practice or not, He deemed it a worthwhile activity to make a statement about one's faith, showing a fresh start.

I would not be surprised that baptism was practiced prior to Christ's baptism, but I don't think it has any impact on what He taught about it. It is not a magical transformation -- it is a public statement of intent.

A baby does not have a public statement, except "I'm really hungry and I don't know who this guy is pouring water on my head."
