And becareful not to fall into the trap of "Fads"....

I have no problem with teaching on the prayer of Jabez and learning what we can. But we should not put additional spiritual strength on scripture where really IMO none was intended.

If I have offended anyone with the tone of my post I apologise. I post my position as my view on the book and its theology. The merchandise spin offs are tangential and do not concern me. I pray that if I have offended anyone by my tone (not content) that one forgives me so that I do not do so again.

Even though some may not agree with your post, I don't think anyone could say it was offensive and mean-spirited.  If that's as mean 'n nasty as you get, you're just fine.
