[HereIStand]

Did anyone watch iZombie last night on CW. I enjoyed it.

It has a good mix. It pokes fun at itself with scenes like perfect suburban Mom telling zombie daughter that she doesn't look well, as if she has a cold. Then it gets series with the detective crime-fighting aspects of the show.

This was my first zombie show, so I was bracing for a gore fest, but it wasn't like that.

The whole zombie thing has been overdone. Nothing personal of course but I don't plan on watching this.

A few zombie comedies are good (Zombieland for example), but most are tiresome. Zombie romance is just plain stupid and it's a lame attempt to cash in on a popular genre.

Zombies do seem to be a trend that's probably on the wane. I would still recommend this show, especially for people like myself who've not seen other zombie shows.

Same here. Veronica Mars sounds good. Wish I had time to watch it on DVD.

Did anyone tune in last night? Still a good show. And generally so was last night's episode. I liked message of Liv -- the main character -- coming alive (so to speak) through artistic expression and appreciation. It's understandable (but regrettable) that a bad zombie character has to be introduced. But there's a need to balance out Liv using her zombie state for good.
