  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

In the mid 70's work was very scarce due to an economic recession. I came very close to emigrating to Australia. There was a lack of skilled trades to meet a building boom there and they were recruiting carpenters, electricians and pipe fitters. I ended up finding work, but I had the forms ready to fill out.
we lack all of those still in our town - you still interested?

oh and we serve our beer cold.

I find it interesting that there are barely any from the same diocese in Australia here. There aren't that many diocese in Australia - we've covered quite a few really.

As for Anglicanism in Australia - there are still many nominal anglicans around. For instance if someone considers themselved protestant and don't actually attend the Presbyterian chruch you can bet they'd have their wedding, baptism and funeral in the Anglican church. It's kind of the default. But that wouldn't really account for our presence here.

That it is a site owned by an Australian might have a very little to do with it.
