honestly, im not looking to pic up a religion...im looking to learn new ideas or ways of life that can help me be wiser, more perceptive, more effective when dealing with people and happier. the calm stance of evaluating everything through a logical perceptive eye is what i try to do...that way i can be nuetral and see things as they really are, not tied or commited anything that could cause a bias in me, or my all time worst fear "be wrong".

actually i did research it, the u.s. military doesnt have counselers or anything, all they have are chaplians and you cant be a agnostic chaplain. all serious counselling is paid to civilians to do.
whatever the future holds for me, im up for it. i really wouldnt have a problem seeing that God was actuallly real, if its something i learned on my own and saw with my own eyes. i really do try to be honest with myself and not act a certain way just to stay with rutine.
but honestly...i must admit im pretty jaded when it comes to christianity, i dont think ill read much on it or supporting it for a long time. yes, im going to try to find as many things i can to do that i enjoy or make me more into the person i want to be.
since the army doesnt offer counseling like jobs and ill be for atleast 4-8 more years cus im not getting out, i think im just going to focus on being a sergeant and having soldiers under me who i can pour myself into and help as much as i can, being in my shoes i know what it can be like to be a new soldier in the army, not really knowing to do and not really having anyone who cares to show you a whole lot sometimes.
i think that would be pretty fullfilling. and it pays well too... so.

i dont hate christianity, but i dont believe its the truth. i dont miss anything about my christianity, this a place i can come and help people, a place were non christians can post their struggles and non christians can also give advice. just because i say no to something doesnt mean i hate it. just because I make reference to my christian past when i had a goal doesnt mean i miss it. i kinda want a goal, yah. doesnt mean i miss my christianity. well not everyone will just point me to Christ, i am agnostic, but i dont point anyone away from Christ either.

For me, just being alive is a gift, something to be passionate about. The fact that I can go for a run, or smell a flower, or kiss my boyfriend...life can be something to be crazy about. Sometimes I think people are too concerned about the afterlife and metaphysical ponderings, that can never be known 100%, rather than just living life. Take in what is around you and find beauty in it.

There are always good things to be found in life. You just have to look around.

I hope that you find something, whether it be Christianity or anything else that makes you excited and want to live.

I read your first post and subsequence ones. I am sad for you.
Its a fact we are in the end times, it is predicted in the bible that there are those who will fall away, its known as apostacy. You have been deceived.

1Timothy 4 "The spirit warned that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons"

You must be very careful about what you are saying and doing Endure 2.

Luke 12:9"But he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God."

Isaiah 5:20 "Woe unto them who call evil good, and good evil"

You may not believe me, but I have cried tears for you and have prayed for you. I pray that you will return to the refuge and shelter of Jesus Christ. May you remain safe within His arms.

And to all other believers reading this. We must all be diligent and be on guard. Many of us are at risk also of being deceived and falling away, we may be as on fire for Jesus as Endure2 once was, and then something happens and we grow cold. It does and can happen, I have heard many stories like this.

The Lord has not given up on you Endure 2 even though you may have abandoned Him for a short while.
So this is my prayer for you

what do make time for ... no matter how bummed , tired , or type of day ?

I write letters to prisoners in several states , make little business cards with cartoons and bible verses ... knowing that if I change , affirm , edify , or assist 1 person , it is all worth it ...for as I sow , so shall I reap , in due season ...

Passion is some thing within ... a dream , vision Habakkuk 2.2 ... some are into sports , rock and roll, cars , racing , critters ... a means to restore , relax , day dream like Walter Mitty ... a reason to do some things better , different , or change ...

at 24 you are at a major cross road ... single or married ; college or the work place ; hang out with friends , go out on my own ; distance myself from folks , make my own decisions ; church is for me or pleases my parents ....

some dry seasons are good , they get us to stop , look , and listen to what we have seen heard and done in the past , make a few mid course corrections , look at our options , prior to going forth again ...

spend a little time in the book of ecclesiastes written by a cat in the same boat ... what now ? what is really important in life ? is this all that there is ?
