Our understanding of the science is not the issue. The evidence for evolution and in support of the Theory of Evolution is so vast and deep that it would be impossible to "explain it" on an internet "debate" forum such as CF. There are, literally, millions of scientists, technicians and students adding to it every day, and it fills thousands of museums, universities, research facilities, excavation sites, hospitals, libraries, etc. all around the world. It is impossible to summarize it into a "simple" post you would find convincing.
