I've recently had an experience which has led me to start believing in God,
I've been having a lot of questions, since I never read the bible, and am the only one in my direct family.

God bless you and welcome! I grew up in a non-Christian home. But I'm old now and have been reading my Bible for years and daily since my husband passed away eight years ago.

I don't think I've posted to Christan living. But I love to answer questions. Because you are in the Netherlands you night find a Reformed church.

I started looking into the bible and understood that there are no parts of the original version anymore. I started to look at the dead sea scrolls, because I understood they're the closest to the original!

I started looking into the bible and understood that there are no parts of the original version anymore.

There are many manuscripts of the Bible, going back to very early times. They agree with each other quite well. Good modern translations will be very, very close to the original.

biblegateway.com has numerous versions available. But there's nothing like a physical copy. Found reading several like the "King James Version," The Passion Translation," and "Amplified Bible, Classic Edition" helpful. KJV, TPT, AMPC.

Well i will right to the point, believing in God will do you no good, a lot of people believe in God.

What you want to understand is how to receive the free gift of Gods Eternal Life.
And the way to receive Eternal Life, is to believe that Jesus is The promised Messiah (only begotten Son of God) from the prophecies of The Tanakh and trust in The Messiah for the free gift of Gods Eternal Life.

If you do trust, believe in Jesus for Eternal Life, Eternal Life is yours at the moment you believe. You become a child of God and cross over from death to life. Never to cross back over to death again.

Get a Bible and read the Gospel of John a few verses below from The gospel of John

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

It's ok you're not weird lol ! You are pretty young and live in a fallen world that is largely away from God and where it's taught many untruths about the bible. But as you grow in the faith you come to find that the bible is a living word from God and different parts of it speak to you at different times. Right now you need to start to work at the beginning, not the first book of the bible but the scriptures that speak to knew Christians. You need to have established in you the authority of the bible, the authority of Jesus Christ as God and man and knowing the Holy Spirit is who is working on you and in you revealing things to you. To put it plainly, you wouldn't be here asking questions if The Spirit wasn't drawing you here.
