First off, I'm kind of new here, so sorry if I get this in the wrong forum.
I just thought I'd share something that has occurred to me over the past year or so and the best illustration of it came just the other night. Basically, I've really been noticing how far off scientist really are. It seems that every week or so, I'm reading about how there's some new theory to replace the old one. And I'm not talking about minor ones either. For example, it seems that the dinosaurs that I grew up with are all "extinct" now and a new bread of them have come to the forefront... and these even have feathers! Where did the brontosaurs go anyway?
I'm also seeing that the big bang theory has a replacement, which is even more fantastic. How can the big bang be wrong!??!
What brought this to a head was Dateline the other night. The one that they had the Jesus special thing. I tuned in right when it came on.... I'm always curious when non-Christians study Christianity. Anyway, I had to sit through an entire hour of how we don't know how people get fat. What's up with that? And people look at me like I'm nuts because I believe in something that I can't prove to them with science?
Sorry, just had to share.
