You know something? I always see t-shirts and online surveys that divide christians as either Calvinist or Arminian, with no alternative.
I find this annoying since there are a huge number of Christians who aren't either!
The third option:
salvation as a free gift, thru asking Christ into your life, keeped by the power of God, eternal life beginning the moment you ask Christ in, that is also freely available to anyone who chooses.
You can't leave God, and He won't leave you, because of His promise to never leave nor forsake you.
This is different from Calvinism, because there is only a pre-elected group who get to go to heaven for calvinism.. limited atonement.
This is also different from Arminianism because with Arminianism you can leave God, or God can leave you if you don't keep up the good works.
Some of the scripture this third position is based on (not man's tradition):
Joh 10:28 And I give to them eternal life, and they shall never ever perish, and not anyone shall pluck them out of My hand.
Joh 10:29 My Father who gave them to me is greater than all, and no one is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand.
Eph 2:8 For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God,
Eph 2:9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
(Eph 2:5) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by (grace ye are saved

(Eph 2:6) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
(Eph 1:13-14) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Eph 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1Jn 2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternalelife,
1Jn 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
1Co 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
(Rom 8:37-39) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Joh 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
These are just a small selection of the many verses that show a) salvation is a free gift with no strings attatched, not by works
b) salvation is not keeped by us, but by the power of God
c) eternal life is promised to us when we ask Christ in and begins at the moment of salvation
So that is me, hope to hear from y'all
