I need some prayer...I have battled depression for a long time.  I can feel my mind is slipping down into that realm again....

I do well on the meds my doctor prescribed but I can't afford to get them right now...

I just want to get well.  I just want to be an interesting, happy person.

Please pray that I keep my inner peace...

Of course I will pray for you! I know all to well the battle with depression. At times it seems it is all I can do to keep from falling into the dark hole. It is those times that I can on God to hold me up. He is so faithful to me and He does just that. As for your meds, are there any free clinics or something of the sort in the area that could maybe help you out on this?

Dear Father, I lift mydecember up to you this morning. Help her to battle these feelings of helplessness and depression. Help her to know without a doubt that you are right beside her, holding her up during this time. In Your word, you have promised to never leave or forsake us. thank you to everyone who prayed for me!  I do trust in the Lord, I know he loves me and wants me to be happy! for this reason he brought me to this website and all you wonderful people!  but when depression hits me, my rational and irrational are duking it out (I know God loves me, wants me to be happy but then there is this sense of hopelessness & unworthiness.

this is in response to andrewhodge's great ideas about the free meds & the light therapy.  i live in one of the most sunniest places in the world, so i don't think it will do me good w/ the light therapy.  i am more energized when it is rainy and cold.  i wish i could visit great britain that might just be the climate for me.  I will be checking into places that give free meds.

i've learnt a little something on depression. If you excercise regularly, you usually won't get depression. Sometimes when i feel depressed, i jump up and down, run around until i'm puffed out then i feel fine again.
