I would have to agree 100% with what Unitynlove has to say. I have been through it too long now, and it is very true. If you are thinking about all the negative things, well, then, naturally, things are going to be bad. Your past is your past, you need to put it behind you, and think of all the good things this world has to offer you. You are a great person, and you deserve to be happy. Live your life for you, not anyone else. PM me if you would like.

As one non-religously-inclined person to another, let me tell you you're not alone.
If you've felt consistently "down" for more than 2 months, or display one or more of these symptoms...
You may be depressed.

In which case, hearing "you need to cheer" up, or "things will get better", will mean nothing to you.

My advice is, get help, if you're not at the moment. There is no way out of this pit without some form of ladder. You don't want to dig yourself any deeper.

And though I'd disagree with the context, Unitynlove was right. "Life is what you make of it". If you're willing to seek medical help, your life will improvae. If you decide to languish in a corner, not only will you get worse, you will also find little sympathy or respect from others.

Remember that the Lord brings Good and Bad times. With out alittle rain how could you grow? If its only sun light then these every thing would be burned up. What you have to do with the rain is embrasse it as a lesson, ask the Lord, "What are you trying to teach me Lord so I could grow?" Pain always sharpens your mind, instead of asking the Lord, why me? Ask him, "Lord why do you trust me so much?" because with as much pain as you experience there is a 100 fold blessings of happiness. Stay hopeful.

I cant think positive because if I do then I get squashed like a bug under God's foot and end up worse than when I started. Like I just read some things by single chrisitans and i realize now that I'm doomed. I keep praying that God will kill me but he won't. I don't understand why people believe in the Bible because I have never experienced one thing that was "promised" in it so I just don't get why. but its too late now. I give up. I"ve been trying to fix things sooooo many times and it just gets worse and worse until I find that I'm way to far down and I can't get out of it now. The only thing I have to look forward to now is death.

Quite a few people have posted 'they just give up'... and yet still struggle to search for that hand to pull them up from the pit of despair.

What is there to look forward to in death Hopeless? How do you see it?

Like I shared in my earlier post...I have been where you are....too many times...you might think 'what can an older woman who is married with kids understand???'
Just that I've had many more years to experience the depths of despair. You know how it is...even tho I was surrounded by loved ones...I felt all alone. I always thought God was playing chess with my life and that I was a pawn...and if you know anything about chess, the pawn is just a 'throw away'

I hope you give life just (at least) one more chance!
