Christians, myself included, have found Truth. Most of us accept that the Truth we've found is spirtitual. Where the problem lies those Christians who think that the Bible is literally true in every way.

This premise is demostratably false

10 cubit diameter and 30 cubit circumfrence. This states that pi is exactly 3 which we know not to be true.

There is obviously some factual inaccuracy in this verse above so why should we accept that Genesis is factually accurate?

The account doesn't state pi at all.

There are some numeric discrepancies in the bible, but this isn't one of them.

IMHO, the creation story is undoubtedly figurative.

Consuming the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge (taking in knowlege) leading to Man's fall from grace is clearly an methaphore about knowledge vs faith.

Sorry, that's not the creation story. That's the account of the fall.

The Hebrew word used for "tree" here, is the same word used for any other normal tree.

It is not meant to be figurative. The other significant tree is the tree of life which is going to be literally in heaven. It is a real tree and there is no reason to believe that one is real and one is figurative.
