  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

it is over.

My husband of 10 years told me 3 weeks ago he is filing for divorce. I am having a hard time understanding why he won't give it 1 more shot. I have depression, but I'm finally getting the help I need. He began smoking pot at the end of 2010, and things have gone downhill since then. I still love him, and he is the father of my two daughters. Could the divorce be God's plan, or is it from Satan? How can I tell? How do I let him go and move on? How do we tell our girls? They are 7 and 5. My heart breaks when I think of them having to deal with this. Never in a million years did I think I would end up divorced.

I also said a prayer.
Sounds like he also is having some issues as well. Like maybe he is depressed as well.

It would be nice if you both got some counseling. If your getting that help now, it would be good to bring him in to get some personal help and then maybe the two of you could deal with some things together. Of course he has to be willing.
