Supposedly, being a full time student trying to start ones own buisness should keep me busy...

but alas. I've little drive to really do homework (Don't matter..I'm still an A-B student even without studying) And really...my buisness is only in name...I can't get clients for whatever reason.

So this leaves me with just hours upon hours of wasted life. Sure, I can go on campus, talk with people. Sit in front of the PC and browse forums...or rattle out on the guitar for awhile...

and yea, I'm active at church and related activities.

but I'm broke, I'm not working...I just feel useless right now. I want a job...and it just seems impossible to get one right now. (Actually, what I REALLY want, is for my buisness to take off...but blah)

Pretty much, I've hit the point where I just feel so useless that I just go to sleep to pass the time. (Yea, brilliant idea huh?) but thats just the point I'm at right now...

I am kind of in the same boat right now. Not quite like you because I do need to study and I could do that all day, which I usually do. However, I need to get my business going as well. I just havn't had the discipline to really start working on it. I think I am just being lazy about it.

Hope that helps. Maybe you could try making a schedule. Or just devote a specified time each day to working on your business.

It's a pretty simple answer, either you will do it, or you won't. It really all depends how much you want it. If you want it bad enough, you will make the decision to get off your [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] and do what it takes to get your business going. If you are happy the way things are, they will remain the same and, while you might be miserable with the decision you made, it was what you truly wanted because it was just that, the decision you made.

If you want a good way to get yourself going, set some goals and dreams for yourself and plaster them all around you. For instance, if one thing you want is this super awesome new car, get some pictures of that car and place them in places you spend a good amount of time at: bathroom, computer, kitchen... places you will see it so you can remind yourself that you will never achieve that goal unless you do the work. Set dates you want these things for so you have a firm goal to work towards. Keep reminding yourself why you are doing the work. If you want them bad enough, you will work for them.

at this point I've been activly trying to get the buisness moving for...I don't even know any more. Sevral months.

Ads in the paper, talking with people, working with other tech guys to handle over flow, article in the paper, trying to get word of mouth...on and on...nothing works.

I'm wondering if it's just life, or spiritual warfare because I'm training others in Evangelism this semester...(When I took that same class as a student I got hit REALLY hard...so it's possible)

Tried getting in with a construction crew..but I'm too late for that even...buisness has slowed down to the point that people are getting laid off...

I'd have to do saturdays...sundays are packed with a 3 hour exception.

(Church from 9:30 until 10:30, EE class from 11:00 to 12:00, the Point from 12:00 until 2:00,. EE on the job training from 2:30 until 3:30, then have leadership meetings from 7:30 until 8:30 and the Emancipation from 8:30 until 10/10:30...

Do you enjoy programming? Do you know the language Lisp? If not, go learn it -- that should keep you occupied; I hear it can traverse time when learned correctly, and is brain-meltingly difficult.

Have you thought about overhauling/repairing old computers in the meantime? Generally you can get them for free, do fairly minimal work on them, and give them to charities or people who can't afford something newer. Generally they're fine for the limited wordprocessing and internet browsing that people need to do. OK, it won't make you any money - but it'll get you some experience, and maybe some contacts and reputation.

right now I think it's just that I'm not earning cash...I just have this overwhelming feeling that debt is wrong, and I have some right now (Not horrible, only about $2500 at this point....just $2500 more than I want to have)

But every time I hit my ropes end and am just really really praying for God to show me what he wants me to do, to open oppertunities....I get a call and get a repair job...but then nothing happens for like, a month, and I just can't live on 50$ a month right now. (40$ a week is doable)

Well...Target started hiring for hte holiday season...so I applied, had the interview...they said they would call me tomorrow to see if my schedule works for them.

So, it's in the Lords hands now.

yea, definatly a market...

and it seems like any and every time I try to get another job, it falls through, and I get a client for my company...soo...I guess thats a sign I need to stick to it...just HARD.
