  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I heard that much of France went back to "normal" shortly after the attacks.
The French are sage .They are not idealistic fools ,and will take great care to vet all newcomers , and be even more vigilant . Their police are in my opinion excellent . Extremely well trained ,very serious ; don't try chatting to them while on duty , but very politically aware compared with UK ones, in my opinion . But they also deal with pressure in a way that some so called hysterical christians in America do not seem to be able to . Maybe it's just being better educated in world affairs ,and more mature .

Or maybe it's because their consciences are clearer . As Shakespeare said " A bad conscience doth make cowards of us all" . Maybe that's it ,bad conscience America.

Why don't we just discuss the real problems and give up the sideshow of psychoanalyzing imaginary Americans from long distance?

Islamophobia, a made up, stupid word. Just like 'homophobia' or any other 'phobia' the Left likes to label people as.

What liberals define it as: extreme fear or hatred of Islam
What it really is: the absence of obligation to support Muslims over others.

Too scared? If beheadings, hostage taking, sex slaves, and random murders of anyone that ISIS can get in its sites is not something that an intelligent person should be worried about--especially in the face of almost total inactivity on the part of our own government--what would you think WOULD actually merit such concern?? The "fear" actively promoted by the Administration that everyone will fry (a hundred years from now) because the temperature might go up one degree? No, I doubt that you'd say so, but then why think that "it can't happen here" when it comes to Islamofascism? We fought a whole World War over it already.
The truth requires TWO sides , so why don't you mention the other side of the story .That is, what you have done to bring about the situation ; how you bombed , murdered and humiliated people in their own countries , and yet there are
those who still call themselves christians who justify it . They need to repent ,because if they don't, it will continue until you do . God withdraws support from those who take His name in vain, as many violent people do, on both sides . Christians have done it often to justify their own greed , not only moslems .If christians are Superior ,let them show it.

All Christians should have "Islamophobia."

Muslims <Staff Edit> trampled Jerusalem underfoot for 42 months of years as prophesied, and their time is up, but now they want to rule Jerusalem again, and also the whole world, and have started the Battle of Ar Mageddon which began on 9/11 when the Euphrates was dry. We are now dropping 100-pound "hailstones" on the latest face of Satan.

Christian nations definitely should not let in any more Syrian Muslims, or any Muslims for that matter, because even the "peaceful" ones can turn on us at any moment and very often do.

The Good News is, when the final battle between good and evil is over with <Staff Edit> Satan wont be heard from again for a thousand years.

Funny, I don't really see any "good news" in your post there.

Here's what JESUS said to do:

But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
....
But I say unto you,Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Funny how those words are the hardest ones in the ENTIRE BIBLE.

Because they ask us to be something other than what we really want to be.

Our personal enemy has nothing to do with the enemies of Jesus. We are commanded to love the one, and kill the other. The US, founded by George Washington who rode a pale horse, is the 4th "horseman" to rule the earth for Jesus and kill His enemies (as we are commanded to do in Luke 19:27).

And He Himself showed us how to love our enemies when He asked His Father to forgive those that killed Him.And ( would like to point out that when Jesus said to pray for our enemies, we were to pray for God's mercy on them rather than that He would punish them.

That though does not mean that we let people walk all over us and do not protect ourselves. We are to be gentle as doves, but wise as snakes, and so in that sense it is perfectly OK and in fact makes sense for us to be concern as to who is coming here.

Yes. Exactly. It's an insidious system, akin to the "brainwashing" of prisoners of war.....and to different degrees, being played out in front of our eyes in the world right now.

And, as we can see, it works.

Insidiously so.

Who is being brainwashed exactly and how are they being brainwashed?

Proud Islamophobe here! Very proud!

Bush43 ignored the threat of a terrorist Muslim. Over 3000 dead prove he made a mistake in not being afraid shark bait would follow through.
Yes. Bush did ignore warnings from Richard Clarke and others who were in the Clinton administration. Three thousand dead.

In the past decade Muslim terrorists have killed less than 100 people on American soil.

In the past decade Average Americans have shot and killed over 100,000 people on American soil.

We all have a far greater chance of being killed by an American with a gun than by a Muslim terrorist.

As opposed to the invention that is, moderates.
There is no such thing in Islam. Islam is Islam.

You mean like Christianity is Christianity.

There are some people who read the Koran liberally.
There are some people who read the Koran literally.
There are some people who read the Bible liberally.
There are some people who read the Bible literally.

That's one of the problems with religion, you can interpret scripture to approve of almost any position.

Believing that god is on your side, is a powerful motivator - for good and for evil.

The day you let fear mongering turn you against an entire culture of people, you have given the terrorists all that they desire.

What if my beef is not with the terrorists in particular?

If you turn yourself against an entire culture, then you are certainly no follower of Jesus Christ. Love thy neighbor.

What if the culture in question is opposed to Jesus Christ?
