When it comes to prophecies everyone agrees they are messianic prophecies but what about Isaiah 8??
While the wife of Isaiah wasn't the virgin being discussed in the previous chapter the meaning of the name of Isaiah's son is also a description of how Yeshua will come to quickly spoil the Enemy of his riches and power, and combine this with Emmanuel and Yeshua and you have:

God [is] with us [and He will] quickly spoil [the Enemy and be our] Savior

It's kind of like that other prophecy from Matthew where he says the prophets prophesied that Jesus would be called a Nazarene, you don't find those words in the MT or LXX...but...if you consider Samson who was a type of Christ then the picture is clear: for Samson was made to be a Nazarene or one "set apart". Seeing that Samson was a judge of Israel, was betrayed by his both his father-in-law of his first wife and later his second wife, and killed the Philistines with him by pushing the two Pillars on either side of him: we have in this story an allegory of Christ who from His birth was set apart God to come to deal with our enemies, be a judge, was betrayed by His own people, and in his death overcame the Enemy with the power God gave Him: and it is through His death that we have life.
