Please understand what a tithe is. If you give more than 10 percent you are not tithing and you would actually be in violation of the law if tithing were binding today. However, it is a sign of good citizenship that one should support the institutions to which he belongs and on which he depends. Don't buy into the idea that you are giving God money when you tithe. You say you believe that all belongs to God so how can you think you are giving anything to Him. Men get your money and men use it: sometimes wisely and sometimes not.

It all belongs to Him. How we use it is another matter. You don't believe what you parents told you when you were a two year old about how children came into existence but that does not mean they gave you wrong information.

Then why would you ask the question? Error is a part of probability and God created probability. Why do you think trees have knots?

There's a funny story from the time of Jesus:

One day Jesus walks around and people introduce him to a blind guy.
Blind guy walks with Jesus out of town, Jesus puts spit on the guy's eyes and he says "See anything?"
Guy says, "Hey, what are those -- trees?"

Some theology requires Jesus to have pre-planned a two-stage surgery -- or to have some deep psychological intention behind making the man try and try again. I don't require this.

God created shortfall; had He not built it into the system as a possible consequence of particular facts, it would not exist. It has been valuable for us.

What is sad about all these discussion is the fact that our theology has convinced us that humans are not a part of the family of God. This is why keep trying to make a case why we should be included as well as find reasons why others should not be included. This is a very sad state of affairs.
