Can a sinner/ non-righteous person cry on God's shoulders? Will God allow it? Will He feel insulted? Especially if the person goes on to commit sin again. What do you guys think?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Considering that we are all sinners, yes, of course. He will not be insulted, rather He will be delighted that the "sinner" is coming to Him just as the Father was delighted in a returning prodigal son. We all commit sin, even if we repent and commit the same sin again we can be forgiven. We must intend to not do it again, but if we do G-d will forgive.

Good question. It depends on who the person is calling out to. God is not his name, but his title. His name is Jesus. Will God respond if the person is crying to Allah? Bhuddah? Krishna? The Lord is compassionate, but will he respond to the wrong name knowing that it will further confuse the person? I don't think so. I think he will have someone speak to him about Jesus just as the Macedonian who called upon Yahweh had Paul tell him about Jesus. But suppose he cries out to Jesus, not knowing if Jesus is God, but only because others have done so. I would say, yes, he would respond.

"It's the kindness of God that leads to repentance." God is so gracious, and so compassionate toward our ignorance and weakness, that He will overlook any wrong protocol if He sees a sincere heart turning toward Him. He wants our salvation, and He certainly doesn't want any of Christ's sacrifice, so costly as it was, wasted.
The Father of the prodigal son (Lk 15) was on the lookout for his lost son, so much so that he saw him even at a distance. And that's exactly the way it is for all of us. There are multitudes of testimonies, for instance, of God giving dreams and visions of Jesus to sincere-hearted Muslims trapped in highly oppressive totalitarian religio-political systems. These people wouldn't dream that Christianity was the truth, due to their complete immersion in indoctrination and fear. But the Lord sees their pure hearts and reaches out to them through unusual means, no doubt aided by our prayers.
Similarly, many a person is caught up in the devil's trap of sin, yet inside their heart is crying out for freedom. God certainly sees this and overlooks the sin in order to effect the rescue. Thus we have the dynamic:
God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning their trespasses against them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. -2Cor 5:19
God hasn't changed intentions or methods. God still is in Christ, who now is in us, proactively reconciling the world to Himself, not allowing their sins to block their way back home. All He looks for is a sincere heart to work with. He can handle the rest.

A Christians seems to think their sins are worthy of all forgiveness. Even though they should know better. Why shouldn't God allow a non- religious sinner cry on Gods shoulders? Also Christians seem to repeat sins. Maybe your Question should be about Christians instead of non Christian.

If you treat other people as well as you would wish to be treated yourself, it is becasue you have followed the guidance of God's Holy Spirit, even if you didn't recognize or name the influence.

Why would a nonchristian cry on God's metaphysical shoulders?
Why are they crying?
God wants people everywhere to turn to him, so yes he would welcome someones tears of repentance and sorrow for sin.
Yes he knows our weaknesses and bias to sin and he will forgive us when we repent.
But is this sorrowing nonchristian doing anything other than be sad about their sin, are they moving on to accept Jesus as Lord, which does mean being obedient to him, and as saviour.
