How much time?

As much time as is required for the action to take place.

Next week I will be taking up space in another state. Am I taking up space there now?

No, but your action of going there will take up plenty of space.

My body is constantly in action; even when I sleep. For me, action is continous.

No, but your action of going there will take up plenty of space.
True, But not at the same time. At any given moment, my body will take up no more space than it would if I were still. The same for you as well; if you don't believe me, totally submerge your body in water; then begin to move and see if the water level rises when you move vs when you are still.

You think independence is the quality that something needs to have to be material, I think that inseparability from the material makes the thing part of the physical realm.
Independence isn't always enough; I believe it must be a person, place or a thing.

First, this thread is TL so I DR. Sorry if my post repeats others' words.

It's the tendency that some christians have to explain what they think the "atheist worldview" or "atheist belief system" or more incredibly the "atheist religion" entails.

That's a good question. Does anyone have a "worldview"?

They're myths. They're crutches. They are works of fiction that christians (and other religions, of course) have created in order to wrap their minds around something they don't understand...namely atheism
Religion tend to wrap things they don't understand with religious works. These narratives explain things people do not understand.

Sounds like your post equivocates the "atheist worldview" to a myth. So, both "atheism" and "worldview" (for that matter) are terms religious people created. Yes? Since religious people wraps the unknown/unexplained with myths.

Do you evolution? [sic and not sarcasm]

None of them [humanism, secularism, communism, etc.] have anything to do with my lack of belief in god.
It doesn't apply to you. Doesn't have anything to do with you personally. I see what you mean.

Sure.

My worldview isn't "atheism", but I certainly do have a worldview.

It's hard to sift through stereotypes, assumptions, proxy-knowledge with the truth about people outside communities when communities get too introverted, to the point there's little outside social interaction. Hah.

Unhealthy. Meh.

Thus, I'm glad Isa posted. And this thread exists.

Good question: Where did the word atheism come from, anyway? Religious scholars? Termed during a conversation somewhere? Nietzsche?
