CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I heard from anjelica this morning . I know she is supposed to be seeing someone this evening - so hopefully she is getting some much needed rest now

As you all know Anjelica had a really bad night last night - she is still stunned at the response from you all - you were there for her in her hour of need and you will never know how much that has meant to her.
Today has been fairly busy - out for a while [ fresh air was needed
] and some very preliminary thoughts re future plans are starting to take shape. There's no easy fix.
I'm just off the phone to her - she's exhausted and already in bed and hopes to sleep tonight - she certainly needs it.
She will make the occasional post now as and when she feels she can
Please continue to keep her in your prayers

Thanks all. I am fine. Had a very bad night recently. I just needed human company. I am in the process of possibly leaving a bad and controlling marriage. which is abusive. Mit is not easy when you are blind, in a wheelchair, sick and awaiting an eye operation that may or may not work and where the anaesthetic may cause respiratory failure. Mi think thatt is enough for anybody. I am not in any way depressed or mentally sick. Just was having a very bad night. You should all pat yourselves on the back because you are absolute bricks. Thanks. I am not be tter because things are happening and I am in a LOT of emoti onal. Pain (anybody would be) but. Working things out. Somebody suggested an. Option to me thenother night, which was v ery very tempting. I did not want to do that, and so came in here f or support, strength, and human company. I can honestly say, YOU ARE ALL THE BEST.
