im looking for a spiritual mentor. A real one, not someone who acts Holy online but in real life is just a wolf in sheeps clothing. I want to talk to someone who has a very strong relationship with Jesus Christ our lord and is in the word daily, I want to have a spiritual mentor who does not conform to the patterns of the world but is relying on God with humility. I really wish Jesus was alive right now, so I could ask him questions, he could've been my spiritual mentor. But right now I'm having a very very very hard time with my faith. So if anyone who isn't a false disciple or false prophet or wolf in sheeps clothing is out there, please help me, and pray for me. Because I don't know what to do

I devote all of my time to the Lord, at least in prayer and Bible studies, no matter what. I haven't yet begun any type of ministry or charity, and I don't yet go to Church, but I certainly know our Lord. My life is a struggle, and that's why I have to rely on Him completely, and He has helped me let go of the world. I've been in Christ for two and a half years. Might not know a lot yet, but I have a deep relationship with Jesus, and I have learnt how to persevere through trials, and how to keep my eyes on Him at all times. I'm a messy, messy child, but I'm certainly not a false disciple.

God loves you, I will be available to talk anytime you need me. I am 20 years old so I might not be a mentor. My faith in God and in Jesus Christ means everything to me and I am trying my best to live for God. God is good and Jesus is Lord.

As my first mentoring offering - I would say this - the Bible is not merely informative ... it is powerful. For example Ephesians 6. Many people are aware that the Bible in many places such as Psalms is meant to be prayed not merely read for info. It is not a dead letter. Because of the Holy Spirit - it is living and active and sharper than a two-edged sword.

Jesus sometimes visit me in dreams but he's way different than most Christians imagine Him to be and I'm not talking about His physical appearance.

He's very fond of intellectual conversations like He did with the Samaritan woman in the well. His concerns are much more about fundamental issues than individual issues.

I don't know where to start if I could be of any help at all. Perhaps you can tell what exactly is the problem you are having?

Actually, He is alive right now, and you can ask Him questions. And He can and should be your Spiritual Mentor. Pray to Him daily, even hourly, to become your Spiritual Mentor through the leading and teaching of the Holy Spirit. He desires to be this for all believers, yet few seek Him unfortunately. They seek out others instead.

I'd offer my services, but the advice I just gave you is better than any mentoring I or anyone else could ever give you. I hope you are willing to follow it.
