You are over exaggerating the evidence, and also underestimating the value of judging ToE by the fraud and wild speculation that it has perpetrated in the past.

Look at the Nazi physicists. They we way ahead of the rest of mankind, and all the nations rushed to get the aid of these scientists after WW2. These men were highly educated and brilliant in their fields of study, yet they were also some of the most arrogant and racist people as well. I don't think its unwise to reject ToE, because to me it seems like more of mans folly, just like Nazism.

Piltdown man: Orangutan Man

Charles Dawson, and amateur archeologist, claimed to have found bones of a primitive hominid (a missing link) in a quarry near Piltdown Common in Sussex, England. Piltdown man was named Eoanthropus dawsoni and was constructed from parts of a modern-looking skull and an apelike lower jaw.

In 1953, Piltdown was discovered to be a hoax, consisting of a modern human skull and an orangutan jaw.

More than five hundred articles and memoirs are said to have been written about Piltdown man. (Nature vol. 274, #4419 (10 July 1954) pp. 61-62).

Obviously you don't know that nearly all of your 'copy n' paste' was distorted to the same degree that the Piltdown hoax was.

To demonstrate the fallibility of ToE, and to show reason for not blindly following them. THat faked evidence was accepted for 40 years before it was disproven.

The Piltdown fraud was objected to from the first publication. The fraud delayed the recognition of the African origin of humanity (which Darwin had predicted) by the initial rejection of Raymond Dart's South African discovery of Australopithecus.
