Is the specific year when the tribulation ends written in scripture? Part 2

Some times when Jesus speaks to us through his Word we may think we understand what he is saying however we do not realize that we are blinded to what his words actually meant to his Jewish audience.

For example the phrase “no one knows the day or hour” has often been used by Christians to say its not possible to know when the tribulation will begin. Yes its true no one knows the day or hour when the tribulation will begin, however do you fully understand what this phrase meant to Jesus disciples 1900 years ago?

No one knows the day or hour
“No one knows the day” is a Jewish idiom for the Feast of Trumpets that would officially begin for Israel when two witnesses observed the first sign of the new moon when trumpets would be blown declaring the feast had begun. Now although Israel didn't know the exact day or hour when the feast would begin at first sighting of the new moon, they knew within a 2 day period when the feast was near from observing the 30 day cycle of the moon.

The Feast of Trumpets is prophetic for the 7 years of tribulation that “no one knows the day or hour” when it will begin. However just as Israel knew when the Feast was near from observing the cycle of the moon, we should also know when the tribulation will be near if we are carefully watching the end time signs that Jesus was speaking of and studying the prophetic scriptures.

When you see the fig tree blossom you know summer is near
Using this example of the moon cycle that Israel watched to know when the Feast was near Jesus said, when you see the fig tree (Israel, Hosea 9:10, Psalms 89:36-37) blossom (into a nation in 1948), then you will know that summer is near, the general time or season of the tribulation, Amos 8:1-2, Dan 2:34-35.

Therefore when Israel blossomed into a nation in 1948 it was a significant end-time warning sign for the tribulation that will be coming in our day, just as the moon cycle pointed to the approaching Feast of Trumpets in Israels day. And Jesus said the generation that sees “the fig tree blossom” will not pass away before all the events of the tribulation are fulfilled. And we are now living in the lifetime of that fig-tree generation that will not completely pass away before Jesus returns.

As of May 14, 2019 the generation of 1948 is now 71 years old, so we only have another 20 to 30 years at best before all the tribulation events must be fulfilled.

    The 2000 year gospel age
As I said in my previous articles, the 2000 year gospel age that began from Jesus resurrection in 30 to 33 AD strongly confirms the approximate years of 2030 to 2033 for when the tribulation could begin, and 2037 to 2040 for when it will end. And this means the fig-tree generation of 1948 will be approximately 89 to 92 years old if the tribulation ends in the 2037 to 2040 time-frame.

So the small window of time from 2037 to 2040 are the critical years we need to diligently search for in the scriptures to see if God has mentioned the specific year for when the tribulation will end. And if we find prophetic evidence for one of these years repeated in several different stories then we may know when the tribulation is near, “but not the day or hour” when it will begin.

And the only way we will know for sure if someones interpretation for the final year of the tribulation is truly a revelation from God, is if the tribulation is completed in that exact year the person has discovered. And when studying the scriptures we must remember we need revelation knowledge from the Holy Spirit so our blinded eyes can be opened to see and understand what God is prophetically telling us in his deeply veiled Word, John 16:112-14.

Ecclesiastes 7:24 That which has been (in the past) is far off (and prophetic of the future), and deep (deeply hidden in the scriptures), very deep; who can find it out?

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

    2 days, 7th hour, 38
In John 4 and 5, there are 3 consecutive stories. In the first story Jesus stays with the Samaritans for 2 days which is symbolic for the 2,000 year gospel age to the Gentiles, 2 Peter 3:8. In the next story Jesus healed a son who was at the point of death in the 7th hour which is symbolic for Israel being saved from the point of death in the 7th year of the tribulation. Then in the last story Jesus heals a crippled man who is 38 years old that again is prophetic for Israel's salvation in the 7th year of tribulation in 2038.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.

Jesus stays with the Samaritans for 2 days
In the first story in John 4, Jesus reveals he is the Messiah to a Samaritan woman at the well and she tells her friends. Jesus then stayed with the Samaritans (half Jew, half Gentile) for 2 days and they believed he is the Savior of the world, John 4:40-42.

Jesus staying 2 days with the half Jewish half Gentile Samaritans and revealing himself as Israel's Messiah is symbolic gospel going to the Gentiles for 2,000 years who believe in Jesus and become spiritual Samaritans, a wild Gentile olive branch that's grafted into the olive tree Israel (spiritually half Jewish, half Gentile), Romans 11:24, John 4:1-42.

Jesus healed the son who was at the point of death in the 7th hour
After staying with the Samaritans for 2 days, Jesus returned to Galilee where he healed an official's son who was at the point of death in the 7th hour. This story is prophetic for Jesus returning to Israel after the 2,000 year gospel to the Gentiles (2 days with the Samaritans) when he will miraculously save a faithful remnant of Israel from the point of death in the 7th year of the tribulation, John 4:43-54.

John 4:43-53 After the two days he departed for Galilee. (44) (For Jesus himself had testified that a prophet has no honor in his own hometown.) (45) So when he came to Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him, having seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the feast. For they too had gone to the feast. (46) So he came again to Cana in Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And at Capernaum there was an official whose son was ill. (47) When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. (48) So Jesus said to him, "Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe." (49) The official said to him, "Sir, come down before my child dies." (50) Jesus said to him, "Go; your son will live." The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on his way. (51) As he was going down, his servants met him and told him that his son was recovering. (52) So he asked them the hour when he began to get better, and they said to him, "Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him." (53) The father knew that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, "Your son will live." And he himself believed, and all his household.

On the Sabbath day Jesus healed a crippled man who is 38
Then in John 5:1-9, on the Sabbath day (the 7th day, prophetic for the 7th millennium) Jesus healed a crippled man who was 38 years old under a 5 roofed colonnade. The 38 year old crippled man (in John 5:5) under a 5 roofed colonnade is symbolic for Israel who is crippled in sin and unrighteousness that will be healed by God's grace (grace is represented by the number 5) when a faithful remnant will be born-again and rise and walk with Jesus in the 7th year of tribulation in 2038.

These 3 consecutive stories in John 4 and 5 reveal the numbers 2 days with the Samaritans, or prophetically 2,000 years, 7th hour 38, which mysteriously represents the year 2038 when Israel is saved from the point of death in the 7th year of the tribulation.

Nicodemus does not understand how to be born-again
I forgot to mention these 3 stories in John 4 and 5 are preceded by the story of Nicodemus, the teacher of all Israel who came to Jesus at night and did not understand how to be born-again. Nicodemus coming to Jesus in the darkness is symbolic for the leadership of Israel who were in spiritual darkness and did not understand or believe they must be born-again by faith in Jesus to enter the Kingdom of God.

And because of Israel's spiritual blindness and the hardness of their hearts they rejected Jesus as their suffering Messiah, and as a result the gospel of salvation was sent to the Gentiles for 2,000 years (Jesus stayed with the Samaritans for 2 days) or “two whole years,” Acts 28:23-31.

Every matter must be established by two or three witnesses, 2 Cor 13:1
What I like about God's Word is that he confirms his prophetic truths by two or three witnesses, in other words two or three similar stories will repeat the same prophetic message. And in the next article (in Part 3) I would like to examine another story that mentions the number 38 that also appears to be symbolic for Israels salvation at the end of the tribulation in 2038.

If the end of the tribulation is completed in 2038 we should be seeing more end-time signs in the next 10 years that are pointing to a 7 year covenant between Israel and the surrounding nations that will be a confirmation for the beginning of the tribulation in 2031.

Daniel 9:27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator."

I appreciate all your comments and interests concerning this aspect of Bible prophecy. I know we have different views and opinions on eschatology and its good for us to be able to express our views on this website, but we must remember the most important thing we can do as Christians today is to share Jesus gospel with those people in our lives who are lost and going down the road that leads to eternity in hell.

John 9:4 We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work.

Since most people did not even see Jesus as Messiah when He was with them on earth,
and He said they could not or had not "seen the signs" that a few had,
it is doubtful, actually impossible, with what is written,
that more than just a few will truthfully see and understand the signs regardless of when.

For starters, you get the whole Fig Tree parable wrong. It has nothing to do with Israel being reborn. Its about WHICH GENERATION will see ALL of these SIGNS Jesus has just pointed out unto us.

    Matt. 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: {SIGN POST HERE}

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things {Signs Jesus just pointed out}, know that it is near, even at the doors {End times/Second Coming}.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled {Meaning THE GENERATION that sees ALL of THESE SIGNS that Jesus just pointed out.

And the VERY LAST SIGN before Jesus appeared in the sky in verse 30 was what ? verse 29 !!

Matt. 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken {Satan cast out}:

So Jesus started with the 70 AD Temples Destruction via verses 4-6, then we have the 2000 some odd year Church Age signs from verses 7-14, then we have the coming 70th Week tribulation signs from verses 15-31, we have false christs, false prophets of the church age, THE False Prophet and Anti-Christ of the Tribulation, we have the Jews fleeing after they see the AoD, we have the pestilence, famine and wars of the 2000 some odd year Church Age period, etc. etc. BUT.....The very last sign that needs to be seen is the Wrath of God/6th Seal sign of the Sun and Moon going dark, because THAT GENERATION, who sees all the signs or the very last signs, history will tell of the older signs, but they will KNOW THEM still, will be the Generation that shall see the end times and the Son of Man coming in the clouds !!

So we have to get the parable right first before we can place it in its proper perspective.

As per the rest, you will not know when the Rapture is going to happen, but after the Beast comes to power, people on earth will know the Beast has EXACTLY 1260 days to rule, so the Second Coming IS KNOWN, the Hour of the Rapture is not known. So a sure fire way to know when the end of tribulation is.......is to be here and notice the day he comes to power as the Beast, then you will know in 1260 days Jesus will return.

No thanks on that, I will be in Heaven at that time, either way, as having died in Christ, or as living in Christ at the time of the Last Trumpet.

Instead of "let them eat cake", (I think a president said that, or someone did)

    "let them eat figs" ?

    (A LOT healthier ! )
