Is the Internet Baaad Well from what ive heard id say so,sometimes.Not always though just in case you wear thinking i said it is .What ive heard is that some websites are bad like myspace,myspace is bad because ppl can locate were you live.Also on myspace it might be really easy to accidently say something from ur life personaly or jus where you live.

Its depending on what you use it for, just like anything else here in the world.

It can be an excellent tool for communication, business, information, education and so on.

It can be used for other things that might have a negative impact say for example porn, terrorism, violence and so on....

The internet is a collection of spaces. Some good some bad. it by itself is neither good or bad, but a tool.

It's how you use that tool that determines if it is good or bad for you.

Yes, websites like MySpace can be a problem if people are being truthful about who they are. Essentially the people it can be a problem for are those that put pics online, their school schedule (spare periods), who their friends are, when they'll be on vacation, and so on. It happens all the time and there are several groups out there trying to educate kids that there are twisted people who follow what they do. And yes, we've heard the stories of employers Googling potential employees, finding out about their bad past or behavior and then not hiring them.

I think the moral is to be careful what you post, be careful what you do and most important, like any community, it is important to contribute in a positive way.
