Good day,

For the leaders of Roman Catholic church to even suggest that the substance can be changed and not effect the accidents.

Means that they believe a physical contradiction which is properly classified as nonsense.

In Him,

Bill

It's a good thing that's the only 'physical contradiction' in Christianity then, isn't it?

In other words, a miracle.

Though Christ is substantially present—body, blood, soul and divinity—in the Eucharist

Not true. Communion is done in remembrance of the Lord and the grape juice and the bread just represent the Body and Blood of the Lord.

Scripture does not teach that the Lord is literally in the grape juice and the bread

The Lord's presence is here thru the Holy Spirit, not in any physical things.

Catholics teach that the host (bread) and precious blood (wine) are the real body of Christ and the real blood of Christ.

In other words they think they are cannibals and vampires!

That’s a bit of a misconception. Woke refers to a set of liberal cultural values which are held in opposition to Christianity; it is not mere courtesy or politeness, but rather the embrace of anti-Christian ideas such as the denial that God has created us male and female, and the embrace of transexuality and other perverse activity. So I have to categorically reject your assessment as to what is “woke” in this concept.

The most “woke” “Eucharist” I am aware of are those services patterned after the extremely offensive “Reimagining” conference of the WCC in the early 1990s, where a “Eucharist” of milk and honey was served in direct violation of the canon law of the early church, which explicitly forbids doing that (or for that matter including fish in the Eucharist, or substituting water for wine as is the custom of the Mormons of today and the Hydroparastae of yesterday).

"Woke" isn't held in opposition to Christianity. Believe it or not, liberals don't wake up every day wondering how they can grind their axe against Christianity.

You don't know any militant liberals, I can tell.

You're talking about a group that's probably 1 percent of the US population, who actually has those sorts of feelings of antipathy to that degree. Most people that are liberal don't have an axe to grind with Christians. In fact some are Christians themselves!

That's one of the liberal's talking points.

No, nobody being led by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ would support or vote for those that support killing babies and sexual perversion.

Only those that are led by the Holy Spirit are the Sons of God. (Romans 8:14)

Romans 1:32
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

1% of the US population is still 3.7 million, which is a terrifyingly large number. Consider my denomination with its 700 parishes, 20 monasteries and 14 bishops only has around 100,000 people.

And those 3.7 million militant liberals are doing enormous damage to Christian culture in this country, through their influence and indeed dominance of the entertainment and political sectors of the economy, and large chunks of the IT industry as well.

Our culture isn't monolithic like that, we live in a pluralistic society where people are free to disagree about matters of religion or things of ultimate value.

And somehow you have not noticed the sharp turn to the left this nation as made?

We'll be a communist state in a few more years
