About 108 billion humans have existed on this planet alltogether in human history. When Jesus arrives and he will create a new earth for us, that earth will be about the size of Jupiter, in order to fit all of those 108 billion people. So it is going to be a new exciting (and gigantic place)

By 2050, our population will be almost 10 billion, so you can add 3 extra billion to that number if Jesus hasnt arrived by 2050 (111 billion instead of 108 billion)

What makes you think that everyone is going?

"many are called, but few are chosen" (Matthew 22:14)

"strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" (Matthew 7:14)

I'm wondering if perhaps this thread ould be moved to general theology as it does not appear to be an intro thread.

You have to assume that each human have a chance to reach heaven.

Why?

Scripture tells us that those who get in were chosen to love Christ from the beginning and that its only a few.

Because we recruit people to christianity all over the world, every single day. Each christian already understands what he is doing, when he is recruiting "anyone" he is also expecting anyone to have the same chance.

But each do not have a "chance" as chance is plays no role in it.

We need to teach truth - that you only get in if Christ chooses you and that its only a few.

As far as I've seen, every time a christian recruits someone, he says that if you accept jesus into your heart you will be saved.

Whether you truly love, accept and surrender to Christ is determined by Christ, not by us. He chooses who he will save from the beginning of time and we can do nothing to change that.

History have shown ut time and again, when things get overhand and out of control and when there are not enough resources, wars will eventually reduce our population until it is sustainable again. You can see this over and over in history. But our technology allows us to sustain larger populations now than before.

This never ending cycle of terror should end. We know it always end in bloodshed, like some sort of cyclic human sacrifice ritual.

NO, that is not my idea of world order.

The point is that all the christians out there are already assuming that everyone have the same chance to get to heaven, it's evident in their actions and words.

No, not "all" Christians.

Some recognise that all do not have the same "chance" but that a small number (whom we do not know in advance - hence we evangelise to all) are chosen by Christ and we have NO say in whether it is us or anyone else.

We are saved by an act of Grace - a free gift in which God puts in us a love of God and truth.

Well then there are quite a lot of christians out there who are fooling people around, and you better correct them before they do too much damage.

There are some who are mistaken, yes.

But most of them evangelize and recruit people on the prescription that they will be saved. It really doesn't matter what any single individual like yourself has to say, you have to evaluate christianity as a whole, and the truth is that most of them assume everyone have the same chance to get to heaven. It's just the way it is, it's evident in most places and with most people. Then there are a few people like yourself who see it differently. But you have to evaluate what the majority is doing and not judge it by the exception, even if the minority is right about it, it is beside the point, the point is that people assume that everyone have the same chance to get to heaven.

You evaluate Christianity on the basis of what is in scripture, and each person on the basis of their acts.

If a large majority of people claim to represent christianity but is wrong about 0.1% of their teachings but is right about 99% of their teachings, they are still christians. Part of being a follower of christ, is to learn.

I have not said otherwise, but simply responded to your point on "each human have a chance to reach heaven".

A friend of mine read this book in the time it was published, but today it is not of much use.

"88 Reasons why the Rapture will be in 1988" by Edgar C. Whisenant

It was as good as his follow up, 'The final shout: Rapture report 1989.'
