  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Just for the record, I am glad there are many interested in discussing this, I thought there would be as I have always wanted to talk about this. Love reading all your responses, please continue. How does one know it wouldn't send them to hell. Give scriptural references please. :)
Well, it guess you could say it could send you to hell IF YOU DO NOT have Christ as your Savior, and been born again. When I took Jesus as my Savior, He forgave me for past, present, future sins. No, this doesn't give me a license to sin, but I am nowhere close to being perfect. I've been justified by what Jesus did on the cross, now I am being santified, but it is a process. I don't believe that you can lose your salvation. If you can't earn your salvation, then you can't maintain it either. Eph. 2:8,9
For by grace are you saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. V.9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Does the Bible say whether or not speeding in your car is a sin? If so or if not, please discuss...
Yes, I think it is a sin since it is a violation of the law and God had others in authority over us put that law there for our safety.
Not to mention it is risking the safety of others.

That is a pretty awesome picture. I think it that circumstance the need to protect self and others comes before normal traffic laws. In other words, I would drive like a crazy person getting the heck away from that tornado.

Thank you for saying so...it seems that we have a lot of yes responses...what do you all who said yes believe?

Do you need to repent immediately if you go one mile over the limit, and if you do not and get into an accident and die the next minute, do you go to hell?

Please discuss...:)
