As I stated above, the issue is really about standing and state for true "born again" saints, and I should add that carnal believers in Christ will forfeit much in Heaven for our willingness to indulge the flesh. Let us who truly know God, confess all to God daily and seek to honor Him in all that we say, or do or think!
Yeah I've done it so far for about the last 3 months out of the 9 or so I've been saved. People seem to forget sin is stuff like lying, killing, stealing, adultery, etc stuff like that. If you get saved and set your mind to it you can do it.Is sinless perfection possible in this life?
I suppose that almost anything is theoretically possible, but that does not mean that it is practical or likely.
basilthegreat,
1. Theoretically would be on man's part to miss the mark because of lack of free will cooperation for all lifetime.
On God's part of being almighty sovereign it is no problem.
Relationship wise as a general rule of thumb God will not move without man's free will cooperation.
We are in rulership training in love to rule in the KoH and heavenly places 2 Timothy 2:12; Colossians 1:16.
2. 1 Peter 4:1-2 the flesh has ceased from sin so not to fulfill the things of the flesh.
Paul also said to abstain from the appearance of evil. It is practical in light of these contexts.
3. 1 John says all unrighteousness is sin which covers a lot of ground.
Because we are not perfect in our knowledge it is highly unlikely we won't miss God.
But when we lose the appetite for the struggle when resting in Christ our missing the mark is more not being perfect in knowledge and minor compared because of experience of overcoming.
Comparable in the sense of being older and less of fear because of having been there and done that as in David never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bread. This can happen to younger ones as well depending on how much one is surrendered.
Being sinless which is possible and should and does happen is not for one to be haughty about their achievement whether for one day or one hour or one month or one year etc.
People who are very surrounded to the point of being focused on pleasing God and not the struggle of mans weakness know too well that pride comes before a fall and he who thinks he stands because they puff up will fall.
Because they understand and are more perceptive to the ravages of sin they yield more as a general rule. This doesn't make them any better just more surrendered.
Living sinless is about having a conscience more of overcoming than a conscience of sin and living holy unto God more than unholiness to the flesh. Without Holiness no man shall see the Lord and consecrating and surrendering more to God in our relationship with him and things of that nature. God bless on an overcoming life. Jerry kelso
Is sinless perfection possible in this life?
Only if you are Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The rest of us are sinners. The Bible says were have corrupt hearts that think of only sinning. The only 'near' perfect we can get is to surrender to Jesus as our Lord and Savior of our life, and we can be wearing His Robe of Righteousness. On this side of Heaven that is the best we can Hope for. (and actually it doesn't get any better than that)

Your literally saying that you have not sinned in three months.Yeah I've done it so far for about the last 3 months out of the 9 or so I've been saved. yep clearly, idk if you're attempting to dumbify what was stated, seek clarification, or you're in doubt of what the bible says is possible through christ JESUS.Your literally saying that you have not sinned in three months.
You may of repented. But you have sinned in the past three months.yep clearly, idk if you're attempting to dumbify what was stated, seek clarification, or you're in doubt of what the bible says is possible through christ JESUS.
You may of repented. But you have sinned in the past three months.
?? Really? They actually think that!?No, personally I (nor the Catholic Church) believe that being completely sinless in this life is possible (unless you are Mary, and that is by the Grace of God).
