Looking at the sciences that deal in where life and the universe came from, I would have to say NO. Looking at actual science in general, and what it gave mankind, there is a lot of good that we have gotten from science. Weighing the bad though, on a scale along with the good, I am leaning toward thinking that since the bad outweighs the good, and endangers humanity, the answer also might be no!

    Have a weigh in.....

Science is a tool ... like a wrench.

You can use a wrench to tighten a loose bolt (that's good) ...
... but you can also use a wrench to assault someone (that's bad).

Science has, undoubtedly, given us some good returns ... greater food production, improved medical care, etc., ... but it has also given us the capability to kill one another at much greater rate., etc.

The moral return from a tool depends entirely upon how you choose to use it ...

Your objections appear to be based upon the fact that you don't like the findings science has made in these areas. Fortunately, the universe doesn't much care about your opinion on the matter and most scientists would seek to follow the universe on this one.

It depends on how you look at it. When you consider that God created the natural laws (for example, gravity), then science is good. Studying God's creation and learning more about it can be a good thing because it shows how great He is.

Unfortunately, it seems that many scientists today try to use science to disprove God's existence. And scientific knowledge is being used for evil purposes, such as tampering with human DNA in unethical and immoral ways.

I'm concerned that some people seem to think that scientific knowledge will save us from destruction, but if you read the end of the Good Book, you see that man will basically destroy most life on this planet at some point. And science is being used to make this scenario possible through the development of increasingly sophisticated weaponry.

Only Jesus Christ can save us from our sin and from ourselves!

Science is good. Learning how things work is always good. We need to learn so much more. What we do with what we learn may be good or bad.

Science has nothing say on the supernatural. If there was an intelligent creator of the universe, then what we find in nature is what that creator did. If what we find is in conflict with interpretations of religious scriptures, then some reconsideration of those interpretations may be in order.

Science is only and simply the effort over time to understand how Nature works.

It's full of hypotheses about things not yet well understood, and quite a few impressive theories that have stood up well under extensive and repeated and diverse, far-ranging testing such as General Relativity for instance. :)

That it has by necessity plenty of wrong hypotheses at any given moment in time shouldn't be of any concern at all if a person is aware that's normal.

Science being only the ongoing effort to work out, discern, discover the real underlying laws of Nature.

    Which God made.

To find out what God has done.

We are not omniscient, to already know all of the true Physics He created....

We've discovered some though. Because He made us able to discover.

There are just some tools in the toolbox that need to be thrown out like: evolution and a great part of secular psychological siences

The question is for whom is science a tool? If it is an instrument of deception and poison and destruction of life, then how would that be man using a tool? Man is stuck with science like it or not. Man, you could say made the tool. However, looking at the false sciences dealing in origins that is a tool of demons casting doubt on God! That is a tool of wicked men keeping God and creation away from kids in school! Looking at Hiroshima, I recall stories from school kids of the horrors and death, so how would the fruits of science have been any tool fr them?

There are no findings, there is only beliefs is drag dressed as findings.
What the fables of false science do not match is the truth and reality of God's creation in His word. So they are bad. The only real issue here is whether the life endangering, sex changing, planet wrecking actual sciences are good or bad.

Its an incridbly simplistic, naive view to even think about science in terms like that.

Science is a way to describe physical reality, nothing more, nothing less.

Theoretically, in a good world without evil, it could be good to work with the current nature and laws.
What is taught in most schools is not that God is...anything. They teach that the real way we got here was absolutely diametrically opposed to what is seen in Scripture.
True. I suggest that in a fallen world, there is no other option but for knowledge to be misused.

So it would actually destroy us if allowed. The ONLY thing that will stop science from utterly destroying us is the very God they deny! Ironic.
That reminds me of a clip from an old show from the seventies, where they were talking about life after death experiences and such. One guy claimed that he had a dream about demons working on some advanced nuclear sub, and that years later, he saw that they were actually making the very sub in his vision.
    Got that right.

Would you think it then good to teach inmates in a max security prison how to make explosives out of common cleaning items, or poisons, or guns etc etc?

You seem to think earth is some altruistic, inwardly good habitation.
Yet it tries to override creation by a supernatural God.
Such is the case in the nature of earth, God did set this up. The thing is maybe it was a different core nature in Noah's day and will again be in the future kingdom of God on earth?

Just because God set up things temporarily for a certain time and situation does not mean you can use that nature as eternal, and try to extrapolate into the future and past based on it alone!
God will not redo His word about How He created. Guess who that leaves?

The empty assertion is from people who admit they only deal in the physical to start asserting there was nothing more involved in our existence and creation!

There is no data or evidence supporting god(s) or magic.

Metaphysics cannot be a part of science.

    I get it.

Science that makes neat things I like = GOOD

Science that contradicts my preferred ideology = BAD

No. Do you think we should ban chemistry because it might help some people figure out how to make explosives out of household items?

Given your assumption and your particular interpretation of His word, then either science is in error, or your interpretation of His word is suspect (or both).

I find it impractical to throw out everything we as a species have come to understand about the universe around us. Even as future generations discover everything their ancestors knew to be false, at least some of their efforts paved the way to the truth.

To me, seperating yourself from our current scientific understandings is akin to seperating yourself from humanity.
