Some christians will say anything is bad because they believe they are morally superior to others. Which is ironic given the fact thinking you are better or more holy means you are in sin. And these people don't even realize they are commenting on the internet. If you have internet it means you partake in sin. Sure maybe you go to lets say only this website and an email site. But you pay for the net, the money supports the ISP, the ISP lets people do anything they want really. Look at porn for example. So your a cog in the system helping to keep it going.
The PC you own (or phone) is likely made by starving workers in another country. Maybe its an Iphone, which is made by people who OFTEN commit suicide because Apple makes them pretty much live at the building day and night. And by buying your item made overseas your supporting communism since thats what China is.
See how far one can go to claim something is bad? It sounds silly. Almost everything we have, use, do, buy...etc can be connected to something evil or bad. So as I say in many threads, unless you live in a cave naked and have your own garden and zero contact with the outside world.... your part of it. And even the bible says not a SINGLE one of us is good.
This isn't to say we should carelessly just do everything the world does like use oujia board or what not. But we still have boundaries. Some are biblical boundries that stop us from doing somethings. Others (alot o things actually) fall into a gray area where its not actually a sin per say to do said things. Like watching a R rated movie. Its not something Jesus would do. But its not a sin either. He would simply not approve. And more importantly if what you partake in is affecting you, then you should stop it because obviously its dangerous.
Like with Yugioh, I would be split on it. Its not a sin per say but its a card game that has evil elements. Now if it were a card game dealing with literal witchcraft, witch related items, spells...etc then I'd say its a big no no and evil. Again, if a kid gets drawn into the fantasy of it and starts acting like what goes on in the game, then probably a good idea to take it away.
Me? I'm against Harry Potter but yet watch Lord of the Rings. I am against sex in movies but watch R rated movies with violence, blood and swearing (though I do limit the swearing). Its all about personal conviction more then anything else. Some things affect me, others don't.
