Is Matzah the most boring substance known to man?

I treat Matzo like most folks treat a cracker. Break it up into 1 inch squares put some cream cheese a little lox. Chopped liver. Eggs and Onions. A little piece of roast lamb, some gravy. Great with butter and a ball of gefilte fish.

And of course...

Matzo Balls :D
Oh yes!

I just grilled some liver tonight and have some leftover to process up with some sauted onions that are so sweet, I can't wait to try it tomorrow, but I have to use GF matzah and I only have one piece left I baked of the oat kind.:yum:

hmm good suggestions. Since I follow more sephardi rules, I had myself some bean soup and used the Matzah in replacement of soup crackers.

The spring season of my thrown weapons class started up yesterday afternoon. There were requests to tape matzoh to the targets. After an hour or two of having axes and knives flung at it, the matzoh laid in little crumbles in the grass, and our leader started laughing and said he was worried it would break the lawn-mower.

Well we don't treat it that way, it is a holy bread commanded by G-d to be eaten, no matter what we think of the taste.

I had wondered about that, actually, if it would be considered offensive. Wouldn't have made the suggestion myself (have no reason to), but about 1/2 of the people there are Jewish, and nobody seemed to find it objectionable.

I may not like the taste. But it is a Mitzvah ordained by HaShem. You might as well shoot arrows at Moses, or Avraham, or David, or for that matter the Torah itself.

We may not always like the Mitzvoth, but we do them anyways, to show our love for HaShem. When we are kids, we don't always like doing the chores our mother's give us such as weeding gardens or hte like. But we do them anyways, because welove our parents and want to demonstrate that love with very limited vocabulary. It is the same with HaShem.

Exactly; it's all about the mitzvah, not the taste.
But, would it have hurt to give it just a little flavor? ;)

Well then we would have wanted it to be Pesach all year round and what would the Kohanim of old have eaten? ;)

This is exactly the lesson I learned last week.
