CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've never done it. And I can't stand when people say "everyone has at one point or another" well I haven't and I dont see a point to it. Im waiting for my husband. *Shrugs*
Also, I can see how it's a sin in the aspect of lusting, you're imagining someone and God says thats a sin. But then again some people say that the imagining thing isn't necessary. Idk. I dont do it, for my own personal reasons, but I don't believe you can be sent to hell for it. That's just someone trying to scare you. lol

Good for you! Most people have masturbated or experimented at somepoint and gotten a surprise, and that's not just an excuse to do it- it's a fact we need to recognize. That so many people across different cultures touch should tell us something about how our body works and how we're built.
Lust typically has nothing to do with it unless there's no self control involved.
Great! If you find it to be detrimental, then don't do it, just like any other gray area.
