Now you're just making stuff up to be spiteful. Can you show me anywhere that a Catholic has said Proverbs 31 is about Mary?
Not being spiteful sweetheart. Sorry. People keep alluding to the 'virtuous' woman, is that not what you meant? If not, I apologize..but don't assume I was being spiteful...big assumption on your part.

Punchy....how can you say you aren't part of the catholic denomination. One of you split from the other...that is what EVERYONE on GT has said...so yep, you are part of the denomination! IF not, please...enlighten me.

could you name me all these 'denominations' please?? I know the catholic denomination has at least 3...RCC, OCC, EO....protestants have several for sure different veins of thought for sure...there are Baptist, Methodist, Nazerene....to name a few. BUT like the EO and all that, we just see things a bit different. The bottom line for all protestants is that Jesus was born of a virgin, came in the flesh, died on the cross and raised again on the 3rd day. ALL of us believe that. It is the minor things that don't affect salvation is where the 'denominations' come in at.

Who determines what "affects salvation"?

Christians do not agree on how to be saved. Some say that you are saved by accepting Jesus as Savoiur and Lord. Others say that you are saved by accept Jesus Saviour only. Some say that it neither, it is only by faith. Others say it is by faith and repentance. Other say that you must be baptized. The way we think of salvation is where "denominations" come in at. Does that mean that salvation is a minor thing?
NICE twisting of my words there. Did you read what i posted or just jump in and say anything that came to mind? Salvation is simple. Read Romans. It is in there.

by minor, I mean baptism (among other things....should we be?yes...but if not...so?? Denied access to heaven because of that? I don't think so, not what I have read in the word. It is obedience to God for sure for that..but not 'major' to salvation.

Did Mary come down from heaven?

(Young) John 3:13 and no one hath gone up to the heaven, except He who out of the heaven came down--the Son of Man who is in the heaven.

Where in the Bible does it say that coming down from heaven is a qualification of righteousness?

Satan came down (or fell) from heaven. Does that mean that he must have been righteous?

What salvation are you referring to btw?

(Young) Acts 2:21 and it shall be, every one--whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, he shall be saved.

(Young) Romans 10:13 for every one--whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, he shall be saved.'
Luke 21:28 and these things beginning to happen bend yourselves back, and lift up your heads, because your redemption doth draw nigh.'

I'm concerned about much of what you've posted here. I needn't go elsewhere. If you're really that sad, maybe it's time to take a break?

probably any woman that God so chose. It just so happened He knew Mary and her heart and what she would do. She is indeed blessed for that. I am sure she didn't know the 'full' consequences of Him being Jesus...like she couldn't of known about his death and all..and how that played out. I am sure she pondered alot in her heart like the Word says. Be that as it may, as a mother, I am not sure I could of done it for sure like she did.

Well, being FULL of GRACE means she did know.
What is the fullness of Grace?

What does the Spirit impart to us that fills us with His Presense?
Knowledge, Piety, Wisdom, Fear of the Lord...to name a few.
So we know she had knowledge, and Wisdom.

She may have not known what Simon meant when she would be pierced with a sword in Her heart, and that she would read many hearts.

Perhaps He foretold Her Heavenly presense to do these things.

Would you say since she is gifted with reading men's hearts..that she was given a gift not ever mentioned for anyone else anywhere in scriptures?
AND wouldnt you agree that the scriptures tel us only God can read hearts?
SO conclusively we know that Mary has been given full Graces and an ability of Grace from God to read hearts.

WHY would she be bestowed such a gift?

Unless she is to be our friend and read our hearts and help us when we call upon her?
WHY else would she have this gift if God didnt want her to have it?

The Catholic Church knows she was imparted this gift so she could discern our prayers to her to interceed on our behalf...because God has exalted Her above all His other creatures.

That is so not what I meant. I am not "using my own interpretations." I am sorry that you feel insulted. I was trying to say that I respect your right to your own beliefs. I guess I failed miserably. If you have peace with God, who am I say anything about it? I don't try and convert others to Protestantism. It's not my place, it's not my job. I feel that you're twisting my words around. I won't argue. I used the "I" statements because it's what I feel. When discussing things like this it's recomened that you use "I" statements. It's what I feel, it's what I believe. Me, personally. I don't care what others believe. That's between them and God.
 Peace to you then.

It is not as cut-and-dry as you were taught by your own denomination. Here is a verse that does not quite fit in with what you were taught.

Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brethren, what shall we do?" 38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:37, 38

Here Peter says that they do not just call upon the Lord, but that they must repent and be baptized - for the forgiveness of sins! And only then they shall receive the Holy Spirit.

That is the road of salvation yes. BUT, say a person accepts the Lord...and wala before he can get baptized gets killed. Is he out of heaven cause he didn't get baptized??

Yep. Some exciting things were getting ready to happen soon I think, at least as far as the Jews Peter preached to were concerned.

Luke 21:28 and these things beginning to happen bend yourselves back, and lift up your heads, because your redemption doth draw nigh.'

1 Peter 4:7 But, the end of all things, hath drawn near:--be of sound mind, therefore, and be sober for prayers;
