God wants people to work though but it can be any good purpose. As long as your works are done in order to serve God. As Ecclesiastes says whatever your hand finds to do do it with all your might for there is no work in the grave where you are going. And Jesus says

John 9:3-5
3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. 4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Hi I would offer that hand and forehead represent the will and power to do or perform a work . Not a literal hand or forehead. The gospel is hid in that parable the signified word inspired of God .Rev. 13:16-17

I think the mark of Cain the restless wanderer is part or the beginning of the existing one world government. The kingdoms of this world came under the god of this world .(you shall surely not die)

The lust of the flesh the lust of the eye as that which produces the pride(false) of this life. It is not of God but is of the father of lies who works in mankind to sell the truth of the gospel and not buy the wisdom of Christ our unseen God .

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Proverbs 23:23 Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding

In that way the reference found in Revelation 13:17 to buying and selling is not the things of this world. That would appear to be a lying sign to not wonder after.

Buy the unseen things of God the gospel .Not like that of Esau who saw no value in the unseen spiritual things selling his birth rite for a cup of goat soup.

That would all together seem to point to unredeemed mankind the beast of the field of clay. .The result of the fall when the glory of God departed and corruption under the Sun began.

The wage of sin, sufferings, dying leading toward death began . The wage that Cain said he could not bear (Genesis4:13)as did Abel in whom God had favor on could bear, receiving rest, yoked with the Spirit of Christ that worked in Abel. . . with a promise of a new body in the new glorious order.

It is referenced as the blood of Abel through the blood of Zacharias that cries out to be clothed in the incorruptible new bodies that all will receive on the last day under sun which all die not receiving. Hebrew 11:39.

Genesis 6:11-13 King James Version (KJV) The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

So, what would God do, do you think, if a genuine born-again believer was forced to take the Mark, if he was held down and given the Mark against his will? Would he be bound for hell?

What if the Mark was so subtly introduced that a genuine believer had no idea they were being marked with it? Would they go to hell?

These questions prompt me to think that, whatever the Mark is, what damns the person who takes it, is that they will know full well what it is, that it is a symbol of allegiance to the Beast. I don't think we'll have to guess at what the Mark is; we'll know it when we see it, which is why it will be so important not to take it.

It would seem to .The laying on of hands represents; thy will (mind) be done, hands (the work) on earth as it is in heaven. An appeal or prayer request to God to perform His will be done on earth .No power to heal by the literal hands .

James uses the two working together as one . Mind (forehead) and will hand (or power"" .We that are yoked with Christ can keep our hands (works) clean if we obey the will (forehead ).

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

As new creature we have the mind or will of Christ working in us to both reveal and empower us to do His good pleasure.

Philippians2:13-14 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

Its what the band on Aaron's forehead represented the will and pleasure of God not seen.

Not a literal mark or seal

Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

I am worried that people could take the mark of the beast without knowing it in the future. It will seem important. Only those who are believers and awake will not take it that is why revelations says only those written in the book of life will not take it because God will help them know what it is and they know and are prepared to live without going to businesses the world chooses to be essential and perhaps were ready for time of famine to store for one needs in the future which God will not let people stop what people prepared for themselves so work may be essential but it should be something independent or stored or you know how to work later without running a business. But actually I think those who trust in God He will support them in famine He will show them opportunities how to survive

Are we already taking the mark of the beast by accepting to buy from a restaurant only if we scan a code. If it is not it could be a warning that it could not be obvious what comes


Jesus said few find the way to life are true believers which those who are not wanting to believe and seek the truth may not be if they let others stumble them and do not seek the truth one can stumble if he is not deeply grounded to seek the truth his faith was not deeply rooted but he may have been still a believer I think it is about willing to believe but one should want to know it is the truth those willing to accept Jesus promises to keep you in the faith for if you believe a bit but now the devil tries to sow doubt about the prophecies as though David is coming as messiah but we know messiah is son of David and Lord it says David will be prince forever but that is only with regard to messiah the prophecy of many seeking David is fulfilled now with many Jews who sought jesus and found Him if one is willing to believe Jesus promises no one will snatch you from His hand that He will strengthen your belief which it seems you need. Jesus promises all who seek will find the messiah is not even said to live forever on this earth as psalm 45:17 says so how much more David will not be prince forever on this earth literally

I would think the buying and selling would have to do with the truth of the gospel a spiritual matter not one after the flesh of natural unconverted mankind the number of the beast of the field. . . created on the 6th day .

It was not a sign to wonder after. What could it be ?

In that way Jesus said it a evil faithless generation, the generation of natural unconverted mankind that does seek after one to wonder by.. And that none would be given save the sign of Jonah which was fulfilled by Jesus, the Son of man.

Two kinds of signs

Signs of the times like in the days of Noah .But no sign to wonder after. Satan is still with all power brining lying wonders in that way .We must be careful how we hear the understanding of God that works in us.

Esau is one that saw no value in the unseen spiritual things of faith .He as the first born sold his birth rite for a cup of Goat soup. Cain sold his for a little peace of mind. . plowed Able the first recorded martyr under in the corn field as in "out of sight out of mind" .The foundation of paganism. No faith that comes from hearing God or what God calls fools no God in their hearts..

I would suggest the mark is the mark of Gods word, the gospel . What he says comes to pass . Cain desired to die with the increased load, the wage of sin he could not bear. Abel having favor yoked with Christ our rest .His burden was made lighter he could bear it. .

God propmised if any man murder Cain. . like Cain murdered his brother Abel the first recorded martyr ( the father of lies a murderer from that beginning ) that they to would also have no rest in their works . The sentence was life without parole.

Cain remained a restless wander all the days of his life. . no rest yoked with Christ.

Genesis 4:12-15 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

Not a literal mark or seal .Again the mark of his word it seals the will of God not seen. By the hand power of God

No the mark of the beast is an evil thing I suppose you mean a person can not buy the word of God if you receive a mark or if you have been rejecting God it could become too late one day if you die before and without repentance but I think it refers to buying and selling literally

Buying the truth of the gospel the seal of God it replaces the mark, natural unconverted mankind who have no value in the unseen things of God.

The famine for hearing God not buying food or shelter for these temporal bodies of death that will die . But the eternal principle that goes beyond what the eyes see

No outward sign is given to wonder after .Where, what, how. when ????; a lying wonder .

How can we be sure the vaccine is not the mark of the beast or is not in any way used to make you somehow prepared to receive it if it has tracking which one won’t be able to resist ?

There really seems no excuse to take the vaccine the recovery rate is big and one should therefore trust God to preserve ones life because one is afraid it could people should be prepared to die I don’t think it is tempting the Lord because one does not know what it is and God can keep one alive. When you die it is your time to go. The bible says he who gains his life will lose it. Is there not a treatment for such disease if one gets it that he can treat himself afterwards ?

However I hope it is not or could not be if it is not possible to survive without it but you may be able to but how can you convince people they will be able to live without it. But I believe one shouldn’t so I won’t take a vaccine

People put a lot of faith in doctors and medicine and you are considered a crazy person if you will fight such treatments even if there is a big recovery rate
The bible says in revelations through sorcery all nations were deceived and some people take that to mean the word used is pharmacology that is medicines that are not actually needed to trust man rather than God through recommendations of societies of the world like world health industry

I could be wrong though it could be tempting the Lord because one may not have repented yet and if there is a possibility of death one should preserve themselves and trust in doctors. When it really is dangerous for one soul I think God will warn.It is not a quick exit if you allow yourself to die but I suppose God could preserve one but I don’t know.

I don't think God allows one to die if he is not ready and there is danger and it is known the recovery rate is big and there is still a greater chance for you to live therefore I think if the risks of you particularly dying are small I believe one should not take it because God is interested to preserve your life if you are not ready

But that means I can not work or go anywhere as I could get the virus so it seems I have to take the vaccine. I can not go out to condemn people who go to work and live and Jesus wouldn't want me forcing that way of life on others when it is not proven it is the mark. Everyone must be working in some way for the Lord even if it is by prayers. If it is part of one talent to work and ability he needs to work. Unless by refusing the vaccine there is no chance of getting the virus but if there is there is a chance to transmit the virus and if you do not prevent the virus it may be too late as there may be no treatment

edit: I see now this topic was discussed in below thread yesterday I guess I should follow this thread to be sure.

To me it seems you could still transmit a virus which they have no treatment so it seems necessary to get vaccinated

The mark is the number of natural unconverted, corrupted mankind. (666). The mark of Cain (no gospel). The mark of God's word . . .what he says will come to pass .His word is law not theory.

Mankind is born with that plague, the wage of sin. All experience the first death of the temporal spirit subject to the letter of law of God (death) .

Believers sealed in the forehead with the gospel will rise on the last day and receive the promise that all die not receiving.(Hebrew 11:39)

Then death the letter of the law (thou shall surely die) will be cast into the past judgement fire along with the sufferings dying and will never rise again and condemn to death a entire creation.

Those who do not rise on the last day do experience the second death never to rise to new spirit life .

The Holy Spirit will come like a thief in the night on the last day. We can watch and be prepared as those who have a living hope of a new incorruptible body.

Then the former things under the sun will not be remembered or ever come to mind. The glory of the Lord will be the light. There will be no more darkness.

I change my mind people have to accept when it is their time to go and not try to preserve their life but trust in God to. Unless one is absolutely sure one will die if one takes the vaccine and there is not a great chance for recovery. It appears someone has taken the vaccine first. I think those who were pressured first into the vaccine without having the chance to realise its dangers by people exposing it as now they do may be forgiven by God hopefully but the rest of us have to not take it

I think it is a real disease but most people recover from it and you don’t need to take a vaccine it probably has bad side effects and could change your DNA and therefore be the mark of the beast or it may cause one to take the mark of the beast the bible doesn’t say we will have to choose if we will receive a mark on the hand or on the forehead it just says all who are not written in the book of life which does not necessarily mean only those who knew Christ will be kept from it but because God knew that those who seek to obey Him will be written in the book of life. I don’t have to worry about transmitting the virus for if I get it I can self isolate. Then when I recover it will be gone. If one dies then it seems it is one time and God accepts one

How, then, would they be responsible for having done so? How could God condemn someone for taking the Mark when they had no idea that they had? No, God's condemnation rests on those who have taken the Mark precisely because they knew when they took it what it was.

You cannot be guilty of taking the Mark if you had no idea that you were taking it. Does one condemn an infant for putting its hand on a hot element when the infant has no idea what a hot element is? It is evil to take the Mark because it will be clearly associated with "the Beast" and thus clearly opposed to Christ.
